who's the actress in the yellow cheerleading outfit? she looks familiar.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead... lead in Final Destination 3 and was also in the Black Christmas remake and a small part in Bobby... was just in the new domestic Live Free or Die Hard trailer as John McClane's daughter... she's beautiful :woot:

lol

Isn't it funny how Black Christmas original was a grindhouse film exploiting violence? And now shes in the genre itself?

I'm sorry I find it funny...:(

*drops at the sight of rosario and rose nude, but mostly rosario*
how the hell do they do this... seriously, do they show up for the photo shoot and the photographer goes "alright, you two are beautiful, I want to strip you down until your completely nude, then machine gun joe over here is going to put some bullets around your bodies, ok? good, let's do it!"

Anybody read how Rodriguez had an affair with Mcgowan ON set, in his trailer, with his wife outside? She just found about it.

if he were smart he would've invited his wife in to join the party.

Lawl! Hell yeah

Word is though, she's really pissed. Like....explosive pissed :o

I mean, they've been married for like 15 or 16 years, and got five kids

Dude, that's just Enquirer style gossip. They were probably just going over the specifics of a scene together.........

....one with her having her brains humped out!:woot:

I doubt anything happened - he's a family man and wouldn't bugger off and bang another woman when he has five children with his producing partner.

Oh no...I'm sure they knew before hand. Jeez I would love to feel that comfortable with my body to pose semi-nude on the cover of a magazine(not Playboy though)

More like 'Ok ladies, you see that stack of green paper on the table over there? well thats yours if you take off your clothes and put these bullets on you'

Since the critics are saying that "Planet Terror" is better than "Death Proof" (no big surprise there), I wish that the order that the two films are in was reversed so that the cooler zombie movie was the big finish.

Oh well, seeing it this weekend anyway.

i just got back... i loved planet terror, and death proof was... okay. not bad in any sense, but good.

it was kind of a lot of talk, but with a very very good payoff (the car scenes were the shizzle)... and planet terror was pretty much all payoff. i couldn't have imagined rodriguez making a better movie than tarantino, but he did it, in spades.

the trailers were great, too... especially eli roth's... what a sick (but very funny) mother-effer. i don't get all the hate geared towards him. i think he's hilarious.

Was the presentation all good? like what happened after Planet Terror finished? did it cut straight to the fake trailers? or was there announcements and stuff

A few brief fake commercials, then the trailers, then Death Proof.

Did it add to the experience or just feel like a novelty

lol true true...

well, considering the entire 'movie/s' feel like a novelty, the trailers don't do much to take you out of that... at least for me.

granted, i wasn't alive for the 'exploitation movie' phase in the 60's and 70's, but i don't think that should reflect on your enjoyment of a movie these days. call me crazy, but i don't think you should be a certain age to enjoy a movie that came out today...

that said though, (most of) the trailers were very well done, and all of them definately fit with the atmosphere.
