Naw, I believe this thread was made to get rid of the clutter and arguments filling the casting thread with the super trio: Cavill, Routh, and Welling and those of us who like Cavill can just discuss him here.

He'll probably never play Superman, but man is he my personal favorite of all the names I've heard.

i never really seem much of his work. But i do agree he has a good look and is from what i hear is a fine actor. If he was given the shot to be superman i would be down with him.

He has a great look if the story is origin based (a year one Supes). I think if the films span a trilogy+ amount he would mature into a decent established Superman at some point.
