The Official "I'm Not Excited About This Movie At All" Thread

I only want to see Inception and Predators. Other than that, I don't care about anything else really.

Oh but I will catch Toy Story on DVD eventually.

The Last Airbender looks ******ed. Just like every other movie M. Night Shyamalan has directed since Unbreakable.
I don't care at all about A-Team or Expendables.
I want to see Toy Story 3 and Predators.
I am anxiously, schoolgirlishly anticipating Inception.

I will definitely go see Toy Story 3, but my expectations are low. Lowest they've ever been for a Pixar film by far.

Man, with Del Toro gone from The Hobbit, I don't think I will be excited for the film as much as I once was. I mean who the hell is going to replace him?

What? Del Toro isn't doing The Hobbit? I thought he signed some mega bucks multi picture deal?

No one in my age range is excited about Toy Story because, well...it's a cartoon. There's like a handful of us that are into it. The only thing that's attracting some older folks is because it's a franchise they watched when they were little.

never cared for alice and wonderland (hate Burton/Depp remakes) Prince of Persia looked too disney
Never Watched the A-team show but I hope It's a good movie
I hated Shrek 3
I hope Splice Is cool
rather kill my self then watch sex and the city 2
Get Him to the Greek doesn't look as funny as forgeting sarah marshall so I'll rent it
I love toy story so I hope it makes millions
I wish Twilight was as good as True Blood then I'd not mind all the teenage girls loving it
I think
Predators will be worth a watch, just sucks that the franchise hasn't had a good film since alien 3 (aliens and predator as pretty much the same franchise)
I hope inception lives up to the hype
I hope the other guys is another will farrell classic
The Expendables seems like a rental
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World will hopefully be a hit for Edgar Wright
salt better have jolie nudity lol
Piranha 3-D better have good 3d effects
Machete seems to be fun
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps doesn't even look like a oliver stone film (is that a good thing?)
Let Me In will never be as better as let the right one in
Jackass 3D- steve-0 in 3d
Saw VII_ I hope they don't end saw lol I love the franchise
My Soul to Take- is wes craven back?
Due Date - as good as hangover?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I - never cared about harry potter
Tron: Legacy - Avatar good?
Little Fockers- will it be as good as the first two?

Thread title alone unfortunately epitomizes the internet.

He was committed to working with a studio that wasn't filled with *******s.

:yay:

Glad i'm not the only one. I think it's a case of too little too late. I was pulling one of these  when I heard about Shrek 4. Personally, I'm just sick and tired of most of these CGI family films. Especially the ones with talking animals, robots and cars. I liked Wall*E and that was primarily because he didn't talk like your typical dumb character from other CGI family films. I heard they're making a Space Chimps 2...:barf:

But it's Toy Story! I don't think it will be as good as the other two, but this is Pixar. Lots of people my age are going. Maybe it's because we watched thse movies at the right time or something?

I loved both Toy Story films as a kid, but I'm just not in the mood for a CGI animated that's not written by Charlie Kaufmann. I wouldn't say I've outgrown them or anything, but it just looks flat-out unappealing. Though, will I end up seeing it? Probably.:o

Did Kaufman write The Fantastic Mr. Fox or something? I haven't seen the film actually.

Films i'm excited about:
Inception
The Expendables
Toy Story 3
Splice

Splice is looking interesting. Aside from being made outside of the studio system, it looks intelligent, looks damn weird, and ISN'T a torture porn or slasher film that seems to be all the craze in Hollywood when it comes to horror. I also want it to succeed because the director wants to tackle Swamp Thing, and everything he's said about how he'd do it has sold me on him.

I wanna add Del Toro's "At The Mountains of Madness", as this is the film that's gonna be driving me crazy until it gets made. I'm really hoping this will be Del Toro's next project. I know he's gone alot of creature designs and worked out stuff for technology for special effects and stuff. Del Toro really gets the story and if he can pull it off, i'll love him forever.

I'm also kinda amped about the John Carter of Mars film coming up. I think that's gonna be a pretty mind blowing film.

There are a ton of movies I have no interest in (Sex and the City 2, Marmaduke, etc.), but there are a couple in particular that I feel like I was supposed to be excited for and had no interest in.

Prince of Persia- I'm a fan of fun action movies. I've actually never played the games, so maybe that has something to do with it, but I have no desire to see this movie. It just looks bad to me.

Robin Hood- I like Russell Crowe. I like Ridley Scott. I LOVE Robin Hood. Yet this movie still looks lame to me and I really want nothing to do with it.

Robin Hood looks really meh and generic to me, and I think highly of Ridley Scott, Russell Crowe, and Cate Blanchett.

Prince of Persia looks like it would bore me silly too. Like a Pirates of the Caribbean wannabe.

Charlie Kaufman is writing that? Wow, that's...random as hell.

Angelina Jolie, Gary Oldman, Seth Rogen, Jackie Chan, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu and Michelle Yeoh in a movie written by Charlie Kaufman should've been one of the all time greatest comedies not a ***ing Kung Fu Panda movie. :csad:
