With filming nearing, there probably is a final design that has been chosen. Or, it's still being worked out, and coming to a final decision. But with the film starting in Febuary, I'm sure we'll get some view of how the armor will look like soon. Though, there hasn't been any report on it, as of late...

Yeah. Staite is quite the popluar choice on Favreau's group. I'd really support her, if ever she eventually landed the role. Shy, beautiful, hard working. Those qualities of the character are things I can see Staite doing easily.

I would suspect that several casting announcements are coming soon, with around 3-4 months until filming, Mandarin, Obidah Stane and Pepper Potts all need cast, I would look for mid to late November for more casting news,IMO.
