all i can say is i loved it...and right after i went to watch the first showing of it, i went right back in line to see again lol:woot:

I give it 5 out of 5. My favourite line, because it really shocked me at the end, was

"The truth is ... I am Iron Man."

Did anyone honestly see that coming?

Anymore Batman/Superman talk in here, and I'm going to start handing out bannings.

My final word.

I agree. That scene at the end was one of my favorite scenes in the film because it totally caught me off guard. I also, liked how Black Sabbath was used as Iron Man's theme.

Yes I'm back...the critic to end all critiks. Since I'm still quite classy, I won't spoil anything for you all. The movie was pretty good, factor in all the x factors and I will say it is the best super-hero movie thus far. Looking forward to the sequels...something hardly anybody really says anymore. A few minor differences as Harleqinn pointed out, but essence of the Super-hero is there. There are 4 major Super-heros in Marvel/Dc who have the intelligence and charisma to invent their own trademark weapons/gadgets and use them better than anybody else.
1) Bat-Man (6th movie coming out, only 2 were good)
2) Spider-Man (A real crap-fest, where are his webs and gadgets?)
3) Iron-Man (weapons and gadgets intact...armor looks great)
4) Green Arrow (not as popular, but he's the best with arrows)

I don't know if Batman invent his own gadgets, and in BB Wayne used the gadgets created by Wayne Enterprise for his own use. And I never heard GA as an inventor, but he is very wealthy and obviously good with bow-and-arrow.

Other noted inventors you left out are Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Dr. Doom (movie did a real disservice to him), and Forge (although he's not famous).

And Hank Pym/Ant-man/Giant-Man/Goliath/Yellowjacket. :oldrazz:

I'd love to see that movie. People who say it could never be a good one based on him being a 3rd tier hero are on crack. Good writing of any kind + serious special effects + serious treatment + good actors = great movie.

Yeah that's a lot of +'s but it can happen.

Yeah, I'd love to see a Mr. and Mrs. Smith type of movie with the Pyms. They work best as a tag team. It's their thing. Otherwise Wasp would be useless since Yellowjacket can both shrink and grow on his own anyway.

What can Ant-Man do anyway? He can shrink, and he can grow. Can he do anything apart from that? And is he not just a ripoff of the Atom anyway?

Well, it would suck to be a really powerful hero or villain in the Marvel universe, someone who's taken on far more powerful adversaries and then fall to Anaphylactic shock from thousands of insect bites.

Reed Richards and Doctor Doom are great inventors and are intelligent, the cream of the crop at Marvel so I purposely left them out because you all know them, I won't mention something I think you all know already. Ant-man and Atom are too closely related, I left him out too. Green Arrow is DC and I'll post over there. Spidey trilogy sucked. The writers recently depowered him and will bring back the Web-shooters anyways, so they agree with that. Iron Man movie was very good. X-factors are continuity errors and switching of names/characters. Iron Man: this was Stane as the Titanium man and Rhodes only gets suit when Stark becomes a druggie. Spider-Man: this was origin deviation, organic webs, Mary Jane is love interest long after Spidey beds Betty, Gwen and others.

Well that's why you don't judge a hero by their powers.

By the way, his strength stays the same when he shrinks as when he's regular sized. So he can still punch you full force when tiny. Makes for good fights, shrinking and growing like that.

Does he have superhuman strength?

Relatively, yes. :oldrazz: Like if he throws a punch while in a shrunken state it would cause as much impact as it would while in his regular size. It makes him a hard opponent to fight. Pretty close to fighting an invisible person.

I always preferred when he became Yellowjacket though because he could grow up to 60 feet as well as shrink down to the size of an ant.
