The "CW actress" would be a ****load better than the last Lois, no contest.
She did just fine in The Hitcher. The reason people might think she was bad in it? Gee, let me see... maybe because the movie itself was ****?
here is some look like pick of Antonia as lois

She's not pretty enough for Lois
Lol!omg, i didn't know she was in The Presitige........... ****
Are you guys seriously, that horse face, for bootylicious Lois Lane......... Hell to the no
aka, I had to add .......... HORSE FACE
![]()
Just like Hall then.Talent only goes so far. She's not pretty enough.
And your link isn't working.
Hall - too tall, but otherwise i love her. she was great in 'the Town'. don't get how Director see's a horse face. she's got long/slender features, but she's much nicer than Sarah Silverman.
Yustman - TOO beautiful, imo. you'd expect someone like her to be a model or actress...not a news reporter. i wouldn't be against her as Lois...she acts decent enough, but again...she's TOO hot.
Greene - she has a good look, but i personally just don't like her because it seems EVERYONE ELSE AND THEIR MOTHER does. she's the new "it" girl. i normally don't mind "it" girls but she's from Twilight so that's a big negative for me. plus, i've never seen her act.
Miller - LOVE her look, but i've never seen her act.
Prebble - too cute and girly. she has more of a baby face than Emily Browning.
Pardon me, but I laughed out loud at this. You've solely dismissed her because she belongs to a franchise you loathe, which has nothing to do with acting merits. And then you plainly admit you've actually never seen her act.Greene - she has a good look, but i personally just don't like her because it seems EVERYONE ELSE AND THEIR MOTHER does. she's the new "it" girl. i normally don't mind "it" girls but she's from Twilight so that's a big negative for me. plus, i've never seen her act.
i like her look. not to young.
Not at allLol!

The horseface seems to be this week's most popular insult for an actress that someone doesn't like.Hall - a bit too tall, but otherwise i love her. she was great in 'the Town'. don't get how Director see's a horse face. she's got long/slender features, but she's much nicer than Sarah Silverman.

Ugh, her look isn't even good enough to get past the nose. I don't care if people liked her because she's a good actress or was actually really hot, but she's an average looking girl with a Michael Jackson nose and tolerable acting ability. Lois deserves a better actress.Greene - she has a good look, but i personally just don't like her because it seems EVERYONE ELSE AND THEIR MOTHER does. she's the new "it" girl. i normally don't mind "it" girls but she's from Twilight so that's a big negative for me. plus, i've never seen her act.
Only if Browning was hit in the face with a frying pan repeatedly.Prebble - too cute and girly. she has more of a baby face than Emily Browning.
laugh it up fuzzball...but i'm man enough to admit that my dislike for her is personal and not factual. i didn't say it's fair...i didn't say it was honorable, but it's my truth. i'm not trying to pass it off as a FACT and i'm not in charge of the casting decisions here so there's no need for you to feel threatened. i'm just voicing my personal opinion...which is that because i've never seen her act AND because she's involved with a franchise that i despise.....because of my personal bias i'd rather not see her as Lois. how is admitting that i have a personal bias a laughable matter unless you're somewhat threatened? i'm just a random geek on this board....no reason to feel threatened by me voice my personal opinion.Pardon me, but I laughed out loud at this. You've solely dismissed her because she belongs to a franchise you loathe, which has nothing to do with acting merits. And then you plainly admit you've actually never seen her act.
Modern casting methods sure have changed.![]()
Heh, perhaps you should be the one taking this 'chill pill'. You wrote something funny. I laughed.laugh it up fuzzball...but i'm man enough to admit that my dislike for her is personal and not factual. i didn't say it's fair...i didn't say it was honorable, but it's my truth. i'm not trying to pass it off as a FACT and i'm not in charge of the casting decisions here so there's no need for you to feel threatened. i'm just voicing my personal opinion...which is that because i've never seen her act AND because she's involved with a franchise that i despise.....because of my personal bias i'd rather not see her as Lois. how is admitting that i have a personal bias a laughable matter unless you're somewhat threatened? i'm just a random geek on this board....no reason to feel threatened by me voice my personal opinion.
your last sentence seems to suggest that you give me some kind of weight when it comes to casting this movie....if that's indeed true then i'd suggest taking a chill pill, taking a deep breath, and realizing that these boards have approximately 2% (probably less) influence on the actual casting process. Snyder and WB are going to cast who they want based on their own experiences, not because of what one person on these boards has expressed.
well you DID comment that modern casting methods sure have changed....as if me (or anyone here for that matter) should be using industry standards for voicing our opinions. so while you might not have meant to give my post any weight...the fact that you mentioned 'modern casting methods' implies that there's some form of credit to the post you replied to, even though all i was doing is voicing an opinion.Heh, perhaps you should be the one taking this 'chill pill'. You wrote something funny. I laughed.
Implying your opinion threatens (???) me or I gave your post weight is just make it more humorous.
smart man (or woman)...maybe next time you should just laugh and leave it at that. no need to try to ridicule someone just because you don't agree with their opinion.Maybe it should just be dropped before this snowballs into something worse.![]()
Rooney Mara does nothing for me. she's pretty but there's nothing about her, physically, that catches my attention. never seen her act, so i can't comment on her abilities.
