Rashida Jones would be my #1 pick...

Carla Gugino is the only person I think he's ever used in two different films. I guess he could pull a Nolan.

Cornish was also part of the owl movie. And in addition to being in 300, Gerard Butler did the voice for the Black Freighter supplement to Watchmen.

There might have been a few more repeats, but I'm not sure.

Just wanted to interject...

Saw Rachel McAdams in Morning Glory last night. She's one of the best choices for the role of Lois Lane...bar-none.

Very good flick by the way.
Hahahaha.....Pittaman4Two on a Superman forum.

Awesome.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the purported Catwoman candidates end up the mix for Lois. I think Kate Mara would be an interesting pick. Keira Knightley wouldn't be bad either, IMO.

Minka Kelly's voice is way too high and she is starring in a new Charlie's Angels TV show.

Minka Kelly can't act because there is air in her head and booboos

Oh, can it. I'm growing sick of your jibberjabber. :o

Another Taylor Cole pic. Works for me! She's 26 and 5"8 and 1/2 ............ fair bit of TV acting experience, like Cavill, but not much in the way of movies. I've been watching her in The Event and she's fine on it. Love her look, it's very much like the modern incarnations of Lois in the comics.

I wouldn't mind her as Lois. Though if it's true that Ursa is in the movie, Taylor would be great for the part.

It's actually happened... i've completely lost interest in who is going to play Lois Lane in the new movie... they've left it too long, we've been talking nonsense, driving ourselves mental about it...

I am officially not posting again in this thread until an announcement is made... even a list of possibles would do!

They won't cast a D-list TV actress for Lois...

Being on TV doesn't make you D-list.

I'm not endorsing Ellen Page for Lois but I saw a still of her from Super in her Boltie costume and it reminded me of All-Star Lois.

I think that, like most of the USA characters, she's fun to watch on Fairly Legal. Here's a clip of her and Michael Trucco, who some liked for the role of Superman.

She can act cute and funny. Good sign.

Part of that is because she is cute and funny.

In terms of tv actresses I still like Jamie Alexander(Nurse Jackie) and Emmy Rossum. I think Alexander would be better as Lois but Rossum would be great too.

Let me just come out and say it,
Ellen Page for Lois Lane.
This is a real possibility people, admit it!

Wow, great suggestion, Mr. Snyder. I love the idea of Alexis Bledel. Just looked up her birthdate, and can't believe she's almost 30!! I guess I still think of her as a Gilmore Girl. But she's a really interesting actress and has the spunk and spirit that Lois needs.

In this photo she reminds me a lot of Emily Blunt, one of my other faves for the role. Maybe it's the chin.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it was too outside the box, but some of the latest suggestions seemed pretty off so I finally posted the idea :D

No, it's really not at all. When Ellen Page is 45 she'll probably still look much too young to play Lois Lane.

And though her character could easily come off as annoying due to her actions, she's still lovable. That's how I want Lois to be. It's too easy to make her annoying and "*****y" at the same time.

Also, some of the people want for Lois are again being considered for other films...

Confirmed: Mila Kunis Joins James Franco in OZ, THE GREAT AND POWERFUL as Theodora

Last month, it was reported that Mila Kunis was set to join James Franco in director Sam Raimi’s Oz, the Great and Powerful. Today, Variety confirmed Kunis’ casting, announcing that the actress will take on the role of Theodora (aka The Wicked Witch of the West). In this prequel to The Wizard of Oz, Franco will portray a traveling salesman and illusionist who is whisked away to Oz in a hot air balloon, landing in the middle of a battle between three sisters for control of the land. His character eventually becomes the Wizard we know from the 1939 film.

Theodora is initially a good witch, alongside sister Glinda, but is convinced by bad witch Evanora to switch sides after being jilted by Franco’s character. Theodora and Evanora then set out on a quest to rule Oz themselves. David Lindsay-Abaire (Rabbit-Hole)recently performed a rewrite on the script for Disney. The studio is now searching for actresses to play the other two witches in the film, with Olivia Wilde, Amy Adams, Kate Beckinsale, Keira Knightley and Rebecca Hall all under consideration.

This was not what I said.

I said they won't cast those D-list TV actresses that you people mention here.

They won't cast a D-list actress. Better?

Eh. Fine by me. I never once wanted Mila Kunis in the role. She's ALL wrong for that part. For one her face is all cutesy and she looks too young.
