Hickman's Secret Warriors was good.

I checked some of the reviews and have noticed the average rating's about 4/5. Which reminds me I need to start Hickman's run. Can anyone recommend any stories/books featuring Baron Von Strucker?

I can't trust any ratings anymore. There's too much junk that I've seen getting 4/5's.

How accurate do you all think the Amazing Spiderman 2 film will be to the books? And what are the chances Gwen Stacy dies at the end of the film?

All-New X-Factor has been a wonderful suprise (Gambit, Polaris, Quicksilver!)

Black Widow has been superb.

There's not a whole lot of stories that focus solely on Zola. There was the initial arc to the current volume of Captain America but mostly he's been a guy that lurks in the background whenever the Red Skull is around.

The Winter Soldier stuff started with Cap vol 5 #1 and went all the way through Cap Reborn and pretty much ended with Cap #619 and the Gulag arc. Then Fear Itself started and Bucky "died". He had a brief solo series after that.

Widow played a big role in Cap when Bucky took over in the role. She also had a solo series a few years back by Marjorie Lui that was great stuff.

Well, don't let that number fool you. It was actually far less. At some point I think the 30's or 40's or so of vol 5 they went back to the original numbering. So it wasn't like 600 issues, more like 50. All of which can be found in the Ed Brubaker Captain America Omnibus.

And where to start with Bucky as CA? I'm actually familiar with the Death of Steve Rogers story line, oddly enough and own the issue. Im just lighting reading up on Wiki and I am extremely interested and intrigued by that storyline(Bucky as Cap).

I know No Escape is set right after Bucky becomes Cap. That is all I can recall presently.

Captain America #34 Vol 5 his first official issue as Cap. He was Cap up until the end of Cap Reborn.

Cap #26 started his transition into the role.

Yeah, 25 being the death, 26 on up to 34 being him....becoming worthy of the mantel.

Which is why I say read the whole thing cuz it's awesome.

The only cap I've read of that era were issues 23 through about 32 or 33, an issue or two after Bucky became Cap. I actually really liked it but didn't have the funds to continue. I'll have to go back and give it a shot sometime.
