I turned it off eventually because it was starting to make me sick ish (without actually feelling sick) and the game looks better without it, good grief it made Eden Prime look terrible (I went back and did a comparison).

Agreed. The film grain effect annoyed the hell out of me and actually made the game more tolerable once I flipped it off.

No, it's pretty okay. At first it bothered me and didn't live up to expectations, but it's better now.

Yeah I hated the film grain...turned it off straight away....and I turned of the motion blur.
