EA would need to do a considerable payout to get Mass Effect 2 into their publishing hands. I think MS and EA will be talking through the Christmas season.

I'm not on AIM because I don't use chat programs anymore. The last time I talked to Denton on MSN was like 6 months ago. Similarly I don't have Steam working on my computer as it refuses to connect to the network. It does have achievements, but I have a feeling that's only going to be for Valve games, and Left 4 Dead. I haven't done in any real research about it or anything, I haven't purchased anything new not made by Valve off steam, just older titles, but unless they can just quickly port the 360 achievements, I don't think they'd bother.
Deus Ex has been making sweet love to me since it's been on Steam. I just keep playing it. At the end I just use a code to warp to the first level again, and just continue with the JC I've made. He's completely powerful now and has amazing weapons... oh man... I love UNATCO. I love it so much.
The only thing I dislike about Mass Effect is that there isn't more of it, and I can't play an end game and do all the quests I didn't complete prior to finishing the main quest line.
Thats why Im doing all the quest before I complete. Ive clocked up 30 hours so far, and I've only just done the mission at the ice place when your looking for the lady working/hyptnotized for Saren.

Actually in sense, Mass Effect reminds me a bit about Deus Ex. Not so much in execution but the character developement. You grew attached to your version of JC Denton who was very versatile just like the Commander Shepard.

Wow, I beat the game in about 20. I still go the completionist award, so I must have done like some of the optional missions. Personally, I can't imagine how much fun it is for you, having slogged away on those copy and paste bases, and exploring those copy and paste terrains for 30 hours! Granted the character centric stuff is good, but holy jebus, I only did side quests when they interested me and felt organic, I couldn't imagine slogging through every single one before completing the game.

I liked fighting her because the encounter kicked my ass at the start and forced me to start using my abilities, and not only learn them, but learn when to use them.
