I just finished it. It took me 19hr and 40min. I didn't get the Completionist achievement though. I did every quest I could at the Citadel, all the quests but one on Feros and 5-6 quests on various planets.
I wanted to do them all but after a while I just wanted to finish the game and see what happens. I plan on playing again now. Well, not right now but definitely next week. This time as a renegade.

MS will undoubtedly keep their publishing deal with Bioware now.

Great to hear...especially since I havent seen ONE advert on TV for Mass Effect....well in the UK. Which is ridiculous....I've seen like a thousand ads for the Simpsons game at Prime Time. ME could do much better sales wise if it had the marketing it deserves.

Barely anyone has a PS3 over here....even fewer actually play it.
I've got two mates who sold theirs and replaced it with a 360.

Not surprising since all the games up for Video Game of The Year at the VGA awards are 360 games....three of which are exclusive. OOOOO yeah.

For the record, I beat it that fast because I took the bad route on everything, and killed everyone every chance I got, so it sped the game up VERY quickly. There was no extended versions of any of the main points and there wasnt any sidequests i did unless it would specifically kill then.

I was at the max level for renegade or whatever where you can get to do the red options before i completed the second citidel (right before the end when they trap you), so there wasn't much I could do other than go straight for saren.

I'm not really saying it's short, I'm just saying he asked how long it took for me to beat it and i told him how long.

Granted, I am playing it over doing everything sidequest and pretty paragon about everything and im flehsed out to 6 hours already before i even get off the first planet I go to.

Mass Effect is awesome despite sucking ina tremendous amount of ways.

I wouldn't say it sucks tremendously just coz the planets that haven't been colonized feature cookie cutter facilities.
