Routh should have cameoed as alternative Clark Kent in Apocalypse.

No.

Am I the only one that thinks Routh would have immediately shot down an offer to be on Smallville?

Routh would likely squeegee your windshield for $5 right about now if you offered it, so no I don't think he'd shoot them down. I do however dont think they'd ever ask him to do it.

Ya I would have loved to have seen shea appear. Since he was more likely an option then hackman, its to bad they never got him in. Same with likes of jeff east, and the two superboy actors. Those 4 would have been nice. As for routh I doubt he would have been on sv. Ksite mentioned it before wasn't an option. Plus for me as a fan who didn't like him didn't want to see him stinkup sv. As for that dylan dog movie, its been delayed for ahile I believe. And probably isn't going to do well. Heck I am surprised it didn't end up going straight to video.

So was just reading at tvline, michael guest spot on fox comedy pilot has turned to him landing supporting role for the series pickup which is as of right now 6-7 episodes. So congratz to michael.

At TVLine, they also said he finished filming his scenes last week for SV's series finale so he'd most likely be in a lot more than a mere cameo. :super:

Vant we already knew michael was on set the other week for around 2-3 days worth of filming with probably a good 10-12hrs worth of shooting so I am sure overall wise michael will be in finale around 15-20mins worth of the 82-84mins the finale will be. Then we know from laura that this past week ep 20 shot. So this week/next episode 19. Shoots. Then finale pt 1 shoots last.

During that final scene...I totally expect Clark to be in the suit when he confronts Lex.

Something like this would be nice...only much more personable in dialogue given that in the show, these two already have a history.

He shot for 19 hours helllll yeaaaaaaaaaaaa

Well we know on average sv shoots around 16 hrs each day and that he was there for a solid two days. So he probably totaled his full time shooting plus makeup for bald cap cause that is probably an hr or two both ways.

Now that all is said and done, Rosenbaum says he thinks that the final scenes between Clark and Lex are "excellent." He was warmly welcomed back on the set by old friends. "It was so great. I went up there and guys that weren't even working on the show anymore came to set to hang out. One guy brought me a joint," he jokes. "I mean, it's a real family."

lol

I'm getting the feeling that Clark isn't in the suit when he has those scenes with Lex. Wouldn't we have heard something about it by now if the suit was there? Doesn't bother me either way though.

Well I am sure michael probably has a bunch of scenes. I would figure they probably have a meeting of clark in costume and lex. But ya like above poster said they probably want to keep the details of scenes under wrap to we are closer to airing.

So i was just reading about this over at another board. its a comment made about michael in the zapit interivew(NO CLUE ON VALIDITY OF HIS CLAIMS):
He did it for the fans? What baloney. Ask someone who works on the show, he did it purely for the money. And he demanded so much money for his limited appearance that if it wasn't for Tom Welling, who sacrificed a large part of his own salary for the episode just so the show would be able to afford Rosenbaum's demands, then we wouldn't be seeing Lex at all.

You want to thank anyone, or praise anyone for 'doing it for the fans', then praise Tom. He made this happen, he pushed it through, and he put up a lot of his own cash to do it, almost his total fee for the finale in fact. Rosenbaum just cashed in for as much as he could possibly get, and didn't care where the money came from, how unreasonable it was, or how much it would damage the budget of the finale. Tom made sure that Rosembaum got his blood money, but also by sacrificing his own cash, made sure that the budget on the finale wouldn't be affected either, so nothing would have to be cut or toned back.

And that's Tom Welling in a nutshell, always doing everything possible to make the show as good as possible for the fans, and never publicizing that fact, or expecting praise for doing so. Fans of this show will never know just how much they owe his efforts over the years, but without Tom and how much he genuinely cares, and how much he has fought for the show behind the scenes, this show would have been very different, and much lesser, creation. And also would have been off the air long before now.

So Rosenbaum can bask in his pool of self-created worship, while real fans meanwhile know who the real hero behind the show truly is.

Word. He doesn't need to be in the costume for his final scenes with Lex. Though Michael said they laughed a lot so who knows. :woot:

he won't be in the suit until the very last minutes of the episode. bank on that!

im willing to bet he has to beat darkseid in order to win the suit from jorel. by the way where the hell is jorel anyways?

so, after darkseid, what the hell is next for Clark?????

fixer i still serious doubt they would just end with a one little simple scene with the suit. it just wouldnt really cut out for all the wait to it. really the reason they dont mention it is, probably cause they want to keep it hush hush on details and michael is probably under a nda deal where he can talk about only a few things from when he was on set.

i think alot of you will be ultimately disappointed then.

always had alot of respect for Tom and this just made that respect grow :) I dont care how many ppl complain about him, I for 1 love Smallville from the un-aired (original) pilot episode all the way to tonight's episode and to the last few episodes left :)

I am making a thank you vid which I hope is done in time.......you can bet that Michael will be in it, but the big thank you is going to Tom :)

well we will have to see fixxer, i just dont think it would be a simple shirt rip/standing in suit finale scene with tom in costume. All the build up for ten yrs and them doing so much superman stuff with the two blur suits. they need and are probably going to do more. Its the finale i said it before its time to go big or why even bother.

well if your expecting a full on fight with darkseid in the suit i sadly think you will be very hurt by the finale.
