Bolivar Trask and Moira Mctaggert are two important characters in the comics history and both were introduced in X3, he in a secondary role and she as a cameo. So it's obvious that their roles would be expanded in the next sequel.

In the case of Trask, everyone knows he was the one who created the sentinels in the comics, and with Moira, all have seen already the scene after the credits, where Xavier returns to Moira. So what could we expect from these characters in X4? What would you like to see? Do you think they'll get a bigger role in the next sequel? or at least, should get it?

I thought about this thread weeks ago, but never is late, no? So Let's discuss!

Oh, and I created the thread for both characters together, because don't think one for each character would have much movement, and found this idea a better one, since both are secondary roles, not like the x-men.​

Theres really not much to talk about, i doubt that thay will have bigger roles, maybe a bit bigger, but not much.Maybe there will be a sentinel story line but who knows.

Even though she has a whole minute of screentime, Olivia Williams as Moira MacTaggert is one of the few things that I really like about The Last Stand... pitch perfect casting in my opinion. I can't say the same for Trask. I was kind of excited to see Bill Duke cast as Trask, but in the end, I don't know why they even bothered putting Trask in the movie. He does next to nothing.

I would love to see more of William's Moira. I think she was kind of wasted given that she could have played an active role in both the cure and Jean's analysis. I would say that I'm indifferent to seeing more of Trask, but I do want to see sentinels in the future (but I would almost prefer that to be in a reboot).

I liked Olivia too. And yes, she could have had more scenes, not many, but at least, two more, something involving the cure and other about Jean, like in the animated series. Truly, was a wasted oportunity, one more

And with Trask, I think he had an introduction, but surely, they thought he would have a main role in the next one. The same with Moira, because casting those two actors, only for those roles... I doubt it.

I don't want Moira again. I really think Olivia, Bill and Shoreh were terribly wasted. I think Bill is necessary for a Sentinel storyline, but since I don't want Professor back, I don't think Moira should return.

Moira could return without Xavier... It would be very interesting because the audience would know that she knows Xavier's alive, but she doesn't let the team know...

Trask, really, only if they do Sentinels, which I doubt since giant robots would really, wait a minute, didn't Transformers have giant robots and still relatively look like the real world? Hmmm..

I thought Trask was white in the comics and cartoon??
Ya, he would be needed if they went with a Sentinel storyline.
I really like Moira and the research center on Muir Island. It would be nice if they would explore that a little more. I think the casting was perfect for her especially the accent t: So, YES to more Moira in the future!

mmm, don't find it intersting in my opinion... I mean, certainly there would be users that don't like Trask or Moira, or both, but in my opinion, they will appear in X4, because is a logical step, being introduced both in X3, and specially Moira, now having Xavier in the body of one of his patients.

You never know... None of the new peripheral characters introduced in the movies, made it into a second film...

Sabretooth, Toad, Deathstryke, Striker, Nightcrawler...

I know, but they were just villains for one film, except Kurt, of course. Striker had his arc, so seeing him again in X3 wouldn't have much sense. But in the case of Moira, is really diferente, and with Trask... he is working with the presindent, so surely X4 will have a political plot, with the president too, like in the previous movies, so surely Trask will be there too, the same with Beast. At least, that's what I hope.

Can't wait to see Moira again, really, specially the idea of seeing other set, the Muir island, what they do there.... all those things.
