I really liked the trailer. I think the song choice was poor (though I do like Muse), and I'll second that the Manhattan energy bolts make me anxious. But overall it was pretty cool. I think the Rorschach characterization is dead on. And getting to see more Nite Owl was awesome. I love that he looks likes schlub out of costume, right out of the comic.

Some really good stuff in the new trailer. Especially liked seeing Dan and Rorschach's scene. And getting to hear more dialog, particularly from Rorschach...that's just awesome! Was kinda hoping to hear a 'hurm' (or some other trademark Rorschach vocalization) thrown in there somewhere....

my only complaint would be Rorschachs voice. It reminds of Batmans voice in TDK, which I also didn't like. I always imagined his voice as being pretty average, but tinged with anger/disgust, and for whatever reason I imagined him as slow talker.

I was really disappointed to hear them actually calling themselves Watchmen, and I failed to realize that Billy Crudup would just make Dr. Manhattan sound like a Mastercard commercial but beyond that it was a real treat to watch.

They may have just used "Watchmen" for the trailer for general audiences. Crimebusters sounds lame and it would be confusing to hear Crimebusters in a movie called Watchmen if you haven't read the book. Minutemen still remains in the film.

I waited for TDK to see the Watchmen teaser on the big screen but I couldn't wait, thought it would be great to see the reaction this would get at a QoS screening.

The voice of Rorschach is fine with me; same with Dr. Manhatten.

I do think that the trailer was kinda sloppy for some odd reason. Was it the music (when the Music lyrics kicks in) that was destracting? I dont know.

I can live with the grating Alan Moore-ish depiction Haley's using. Personally I imagined him as sounding cold, calm and sterile like Hannibal Lechter, only not as sinister.

oh yeah, me neither. i mean, if it's a good movie, it's a good movie, and if it's bad it's bad. if it's okay it's okay. i'm seeing it no matter what, and even with the changes i'll accept it if it's good. i'm open minded. i'll complain about little things too =) but if it's still good i'll definitely admit it.
