what is the music that plays at the beginning of the trailer?

the more and more i watch the trailer, the more and more i dislike it, it didnt get the job done and it didnt get me more pumped for the film.

Some parts were cool nonetheless but it just made this film look flashy with lots of action and over the top. It also made the characters look like "good" superheroes and not normal. I do like Rorshachs voice but too bad this movie didnt come out before batman begins. Them being mentioned as watchmen pissed me off, No need for that change. The change for the end i can tend to agree with but the name changing just to help non-fans figure out why its called Watchmen, like cmon?

Still pumped but this trailer did not get me more excited.

I also didn't get to see the Watchmen trailer with Quantum of Solace. Or the Star Trek one, but I really don't care much for that movie anyway. Has anyone actually seen the trailer with Bond yet?

No trailer with QoS for me either. Just Star Trek and some strange looking Will Smith movie.

I felt like the music was all wrong, it definatley brought down the trailer.

So, yeah, I can pretty much bet on this not being attached to QOS whenever I go to see that. :o

Strange - the music has actually grown on me after the tenth time watching the trailer.

Especially the first part

what the heck?
no trailer with QoS at my theater

Ah! Worked like a charm! Thanks, dude!

No trailer with QoS here...

i had star trek but no watchmen. if some people had star trek and some didn't, then i have to imagine some people had watchmen.

i bet it will be with the spirit this christmas

I'm sure it's been mentioned but did anyone notice when Dr. Manhattan shouts "LEAVE ME ALONE!" there was sort of a distorted echo sound with it?

no trailer with qos for me, either.

qos sucked too, so no trailer was a bummer.

Of course it was wrong. Muse? Muse????:cmad:

IF they wanted the real deal, they'd go for Radiohead, not for second of third rate cheap imitation.

Maybe they're tryin' to pass a message: the movie may be a third rate imitation of the book, as well.

^ that'd be a bit harsh :oldrazz: I'd say MUSE is just 2nd rate, yeah (though I like 'em)--just as the Pumpkins were/are.. so Snyder is keepin' it balanced :funny:

What? This trailer was actually less flashy than the previous clips, concentrating on the murder mystery plot and hinting at a nuclear world catastrophe. The teaser introduced us to the visual aesthetic of the world, set to cool music. This one was more character driven. It also gave everyone the dialogue they had all been craving for, myself included. Most of the "action" shots we had even already seen.

Regarding the Watchmen thingy...Oh boy. It's not so much dumbing it down for the audience, but really, how many people call the people who "watch over them"..."Watchmen"? You know what I mean? I feel like they (the general audience) is not supposed to make the connection between the quote and the group of heroes briefly known as the Crimebusters, but rather to connect it to the concept of authority in general, and everything that it entails...And that goes beyond superhero antics, and into their very real world when they leave the theater.
