Yes,because it's official and he deserves his own mutha****in' thread.

Personally,I think Jackson could carry his own film.One film would be good enough to set up his character, see more of SHIELD and to explore the MU from an interesting perspective.

I don't think so. It's for all the brothers out there,but on a realistic scope..Fury..or in this case Ultimate Fury will only be in a Avengers or Captain America movie because of the SHIELD background.

Keep him on the movies, specially on ''Captain America'', and get him a rock on action scene on the mother****a Avengers movie!

He makes a great Ultimate Nick Fury, which was clearly based on him to begin with.

I prefer the 616 version, but this is cool.

Hopefully Sam will be Nick Fury in other movies as well, IF they are going by Ultimate look.

I loved sams cameo in Iron man so i hope to see him in the Cap film and Avengers but that is about it.

Technically not to begin with. He appeared in Ult Xmen before appearing in Ultimates which is where the Sam Jackson basis comes from.


I think Fury would be more interesting as a cameo in all the different movies than give him his own movie. Which is another reason why Jackson is great for the role because he definitely likes to stay busy and will prolly always make himself available for a movie.

It's been my understanding that Marvel literally went to him at the outset and said "We'd like to use you as the design basis for our new Nick Fury", and he agreed, joking about playing the character if there was ever a movie version.

Itsjust that his first appearance looks nothing like Sam Jackson. He didnt start looking like Sam Jackson until The Ultimates.
