Something you need to understand is a lot of ppl enjoyed those movies,i still don't get why it matters what a bunch of critics think,their opinion isn;t worth anymore than anyoen else's

So BB's critical success didn't matter? It had good WOM, not bad box office track and enough positive reviews.

No it didn't.what mattered was that ppl loved it and passed the good word on to family/friends/co=workers

It made a lot of money for a movie that had to get past the ghost of a movie only 8 years old that was one of the worst ever made
the DVD sales on top of strong BO in a packed summer during a BO slump showed how much ppl loved the movie
