So I'm thinking I may put a pre-order down for the special edition Stars Wars PS4 and pay it off gradually until it comes out. I'm not super interested in Star Wars to be honest, but my thought process is that I could sell the Deluxe Edition and remastered games for $90-100, and the system itself would retain a huge amount of value if I decide to sell it later since it will most likely vanish and be a bit of SW collector's item later.

I'm not sure yet, though.

Unless you need the special skin, if you are looking to save money, just wait a week and get the regular PS4 as it'll be BF. Not only will the system likely be cheaper, it'll come bundled with a couple of games, which you can sell off as well.

Yeah, but odds are they will probably be older games in that case. I mean, maybe not, but I think I could easily get $90 for Battlefront: Deluxe Edition and all the other Star Wars remaster as long as I sell them quickly. I'm not into the skin itself so much, but I'm thinking more longterm, since I think it'll hold value really well if I decide to sell it over a normal PS4 that's value will only go down with time.

But I don't know, just a thought I've been mulling over really. I may just wait until next year anyway the more I think about it. The only games I really want to play for PS4 only that's out for now is Last of Us (which I kind of don't want to play since I know it'll disappoint) and Tearaway Unfolded.

EDIT: And that Bloodbourne game. That looks like it may be interesting to try.

Who knows. Last year's bundle was GTA V and TLoUR which both came out in Sept and July respectively. In any case, the leaks will be out before Battlefront is released so you'll be able to make a decision

FYI to those who have bought the gray 20th PS4 controller or any brand new systems that come with a DS4, apparently these controllers no longer support non Sony licensed wired headsets with them (and older controllers via a fw update). I can do the voice commands on the home screens but once in game nothing no sound over headset and nobody can hear me talk. I can do voice party chat no problem but once in game nothing. I only paid 25 for my Turtle Beach wired set as it was a HUGE step up from the cheap POS that came with the PS4, looks like I am shopping for a better one in the near future :(.

That's why I just bought the Sony Gold Wireless headset. They are made specifically for the PS3 & PS4, they have a good hidden mic, they have virtual 7.1 surround sound for games and media content, they are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, and they routinely go on sale for $65.

If you play online games, or watch movies on the PS4 they are an essential PS4 accessory to own imo.

yeah but I heard all the stories of them cracking from when people put them on or off due to the 'awesome' quality of the plastic in them. I personally liked how well my TB worked and sounded before I was unable to use it anymore well at least on my PS4 I can use it on my laptop ;).

You might be confusing that with the Elite headsets which have a different design and more prone to that stuff. The Gold model is solid. Ive had mine for about a year with no problems. Got it last year for $40 during BF. My best purchase that day

I've had my gold headphones for about a year and use them for 3-5 hours most nights after I get off work. And I've tossed them across the room into a chair more than a few times and they haven't cracked.

I looked into this cracking issue, and the few breaks I've found reported are stress fractures on the band caused by spreading the earmuffs too far apart. I can spread mine about a foot apart with no problem. As you know most humans don't have a head that's over 12" wide so as long as you don't have an abnormally wide head and don't spread the earmuffs very far apart when you put them on your head they will be perfectly fine.

How Attack on Titan Will Let You Relive The Anime’s Story.September 17, 2015 . 9:40pm

We recently got a glimpse of Attack on Titan’s 3D Maneuver Gear action in its Tokyo Game Show 2015 trailer,
and the developers shared a little more on how the story will be told.

We recently got a glimpse of Attack on Titan’s 3D Maneuver Gear action in its Tokyo Game Show 2015 trailer, and the developers shared a little more on how the story will be told. [Thanks, Zaregoto.]

As previously reported, the new Attack on Titan game includes the entire story that we’ve seen from the anime thus far, so those of you who’ve yet to finish or even watch the anime will get to enjoy the game and the story it will tell.

The drama will unfold throughout the game’s vast stages that will look familiar to those of you who’ve watched the anime or read the manga, and there will be more added to the areas.

The above shows some in-game screenshots that depict some of the story surrounding Eren and his comrades.

Attack on Titan is in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. Koei Tecmo aim to release the game this winter in Japan, and in 2016 for the west.

Attack on Titan Gameplay Footage Shows How You’ll Fly Around Town And Titans. September 17, 2015 . 10:05pm

Koei Tecmo recently shared a look at how Attack on Titan will tell the entire story from the anime, and they showed off some gameplay footage at their Tokyo Game Show 2015 stage event. Here’s a look at 8 minutes of its gameplay footage.

The video starts out with a look at how the game plays, with Eren jumping and flying around using the 3D Maneuver Gear, and it looks as smooth as it does in the anime. There’s an ally system that lets you tag up with any buddies you find just by approaching them, as shown at the 1:00 mark where Eren approaches Armin.

Once you get someone to join your team, they’ll join you in the fight against your target, which is indicated by a distance marker on the map. In the demo, they’re actually practicing with training dummies at first, but you can skip to the 3:40 mark to see an actual fight against a Titan.

You’ll get to target their limbs and neck, but it’ll require some good practice to take out some of the stronger ones. Once the Titans are being attacked, they’ll do their best to track you down, so you’ll need to be able to work your way around them, especially when there are several of them grouped up in the same place.

However, there’s also the risk of crashing into buildings or getting the 3D Maneuver Gear wire cut off. If you’re wondering what happens should you get caught by a Titan, they show us at the 5:50 mark of the video.

If you get grabbed by a Titan, you can mash the triangle button to get out, or also be saved by one of your comrades, so it’ll be pretty important to have them around to watch your back. By cutting the limbs off the Titans, they will act accordingly, so you’ll get to use that to your advantage while fighting them.

New Assassin's Creed: Syndicate bundle revealed, featuring a 1TB PS4, exclusive missions for AC: Syndicate and a digital copy of Watch Dogs.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/09/18/assassins-creed-syndicate-ps4-bundle-revealed

EDIT: I'm not sure if this is exclusive to just Europe, or if we will be seeing a similar bundle released in NA. This is the kind of bundle I've been waiting for and I hope it does come to NA. If it does, I hope this means we will see the 1TB versions being released before the holidays.

Druckmann's reaction to Nolan North saying earlier in the year that there definitely was a sequel inbound for the post apocalyptic series was just like ours. Surprise. "I can say that was kind of a surprise for us for him to say that," he tells OPM. "I was like 'Oh he knows more than we know [about] what we're doing next.' We joked about it afterwards during shoots and stuff."

"The answer is - and this is totally honest, and I've said this in the past - that when Bruce (Straley) and I moved over to Uncharted 4, we were brainstorming ideas for The Last Of Us 2 with new characters; ideas for TLOU 2 with Joel and Ellie; ideas for a sci-fi game; ideas for a fantasy game, and building prototypes for each one of those ideas. And just as we were getting close to settling or narrowing that list down, we were asked to work on Uncharted 4."

Whaaat? When does this go into effect? I’ve got a turtle beach headset that I really like – it’s just one ear that isn’t completely closed off, so it doesn’t impact hearing ambient noise/speakers. I have a surround sound home theater system so I would absolutely hate to have to get a full headset.
