I just finished upgrading my Hard Drive. It took a while because the USB I was using wasn't working well, but my friend helped me and its running smoothly now. Only headache is reinstalling everything and transferring my save files.

the thumbsticks are remarkably different. If you don't believe that then you'd be believing that the dualshock 4's only slightly different too.

And again, many would argue that there is only slight changes in dualshocks from Ps1-3. So by this logic, the gif is pretty pointless.

Anyone back up their PS4 stock HDD before? Was it a lengthy process? I remember it literally taking hours for my 160gb on the PS3. Like close to 8 or so. Hopefully the PS4 is much better as I have about 400gb. Is the restore fast?

why so many? When will you even have time to play al that stuff? It seems like by the time you do, most will have naturally gone done in price, below the BF savings anyway.

I couldn't resist There were some games that I just wanted now just to have it.

For some of those games, I got them for about $10. The most I spent on a game was the AC: Syndicate Gold Edition, which was $40 after using the 20% off PSN code. Everything else was well within the range of $15-25, with the exception of MGSV, which I got for $30.

Games Like FIFA and Until Dawn were more impulse buys because I figured the prices were too good to pass up. MY only regret is that a couple of the games I got from Gamefly, I either bought new versions of them for cheaper days after their sale, or their discs were a little chipped and I can't play them, so I paid a couple of dollars more for new copies, and I'm waiting until this weekend to sell the used one.

But I'm proud to know that with Best Buy's B2G1 Free sale coming up, there are no games that I purchased that will be cheaper during that sale, so for now, they seem like a good investment. I'm never buying a game new again at $60 so by the time I buy games coming next year, I should be done with these and those games should be cheaper so I'm not in any rush.

Mine was a few mins but I only had a few games. My buddy had about 450 FB full and it took him about 15-20 mins. Not too bad.

the last new game I purchased in full, I think was the LE of MGSIV way back in the early days. The only impulse buy for me was NBA 2K16. I literally waited till like 8pm on Saturday to decide to get it and drove around to 3 Best Buys unsuccessfully bc they had sold out. Luckily, I was able to purchase one at the customer service desk for an in store pickup elsewhere that had them. The only game left in 2015 for me to get is the Uncharted Collection but Im waiting for the digital price to drop closer to $20 before I jump on it

The DS4's is only slightly different, too. The DS4 is by no means a radical redesign. It's the biggest redesign, sure, but it's still basically the same overall design appearance-wise

It will format the drive.. But you'll need to download the latest full OS update on a flash drive because it will immediately ask you to load the newest full OS after formatting.

that wasn't the point. I was simply showing that the gif missed a controller and instead of taking my word for it everyone decided to argue. That's how the mess started.

Does anyone here actually own the PS2 Star Wars games included with Battlefront. What is the resolution? Has it been upscaled to 1080p? Are there any filters to improve the graphics at all? Wondering what PS2 emulation will actually be like on the system. Also do they have platinum trophies?

just because no one here knew about it doesn't make it a minor, insignificant detail. I can't believe no one is seeing how much of a departure the thumbsticks are, especially given that the dualshock including the thumbsticks remained largely unchanged for over 15 years.

The gif was cool, but it missed one. And that's all I've been saying this whole time. If it said evolution of dualshock, that would be a different story.

again, by that logic, the ergonomics of the dualshock 4 have had very minor difference for 3 generations so what was even the point of the gif if minor differences (which for the thumbsticks still it isn't one) aren't notable?
