I loved it. Turning killer robots into penguins and then making them dance? I'd plunk down $60 for that. :)

Oh, and Everyday Shooter is bloody brilliant.

I'll download Conan and R&C after midnight tonight... stupid cable company have a 3Gb limit during peak hours (4pm - 12am) and I have the need for speed

EDIT: Downloading them now before it hits 4pm... hopefully they should download in less than the 10 mins I have or at least get a bulk of them done

Ratchet and Clank looked nice, but it was more of the same stuff that I wasn't too keen on with the PS2 games. The presentation is a lot better, and they finally have the power to be really expressive, so it's a real step up in that regard.

The only reason I'm tempted to buy it is because its the only non-FPS this holiday bar Uncharted that looks decent, and that's still a shooting game.

Conan is the worst game ever. It wasn't worth the download time or space. R&C was great though!

Haha, Conan was just about bearable. Just one massive God of War rip off in EVERY aspect.

Fair enough, it really is shooter overload lately isn't it? I'd get Ratchet and Clank Future at a price that wasn't full price but my holiday game thing is pretty packed right now, I'm almost glad that Smash Brothers got delayed. My complaint with Ratchet and Clank is, while it definitely feels like a big step up from the previous games, a lot of the mechanics still seem to simple, I was MORE platforming, more complicated sequences then the "jump to one side of the rail" and such. Basically I want it to be more like a Naughty Dog game. :o

Oh yeah, Conan is pretty 'bearable' which is a shame because I love the Conan comic book series to no end and was really hoping for an awesome romp through Hyborian age.

PSN is kicking ass though lately, isn't it? A huge step above where it was even 2 months ago, honestly pretty much tit for tat to Xbox live from what I've seen lately.

lol. The first cut scene to Conan, all I could think was "Man that arrow looks horrible"

And yes I'm really happy PSN has botted up its game. Its really nice for when you've got not much on blu-ray going, to just take a gander at the store and think "Oh I'll play that!" I've kept some of the best demos still. I actually get them all on blu-ray format too with OPMUK, so its nice not to have to download something if I want to play it again. here's hoping Uncharted, Haze, Killzone 2, MGS4, and other demos hit before the end of the year.

I hope the pick up in demos also means pick up in PS1 games soon. I need MGS1 + VR Missions, the RE series, and Jedi Power Battles. I love them all so much. :(

Gran Turismo Prologue Breaking Information

GT CHANNEL Auto News Blog

Big news from the world of Gran Turismo. With the Tokyo Motor Show only a week away, Sony is already prepping for a huge unveiling on October 24th. There are rumors around what Sony could possibly be revealing, but for now the more important news at hand is the fact that GT5 Prologue will be a downloadable demo as of October 20th. That's right, a free download. That explains why Gran Turismo HD was removed from the PlayStation store on September 30th.

Chances are that this is the same demo shown at Tokyo Game Show (TGS). Most of you who didn't attent TGS will be able to see calendar and other functions in the new Prologue. If that's the case and the Prologue demo is the same one shown at the video game show last month, this upcoming download should feature Alfa Romeos, Nissans, Ferarris and other vehicles, a total of 16, as well as three tracks, Suzuka, Fuji and Daytona.

The October 24th downloadable demo of Prologue should hold fans over long enough until the December 13th release of Gran Turismo Prologue. Pricing will be set at 4,980 Yen for the Blu-Ray disc and 4,500 as a straight download. If it's only four bucks, give us the disc; we don't want a download that costs as much as a full game.

Great news all around. We'll have more in less than a week.

What I dont get is how Sony hyped up classic PS1 games via the PSN and they barely give us anything. This could really help boost it but they arent reelasing anything. I think they should aim for at least 2-3 PS1 games a week. Why is it so hard to do that? I think I read that Japan has something like 150 or more games in their store. Why cant NA and Europe get any love?

:wow: :wow: :wow:
Thanks for the great news! I am so psyched!

I'm a bit confused here. What's the difference between GT5, GT Prologue, and GT5 Prologue? And is this Dec release date for problem for Japan or the US as well?

GT Prologue = GT5 Prologue. Think of it as a preview of GT5. It will only contain a small fraction of the total tracks and cars. Its pretty much like a demo of the final product.
