Right on! That's what I wanted to hear.
I want to hear that this time next week I'll be downloading the Call of Duty 4 map pack, demos for Army of Two, Dark Sector, MGS4 etc, and Home. (In a better world...)

You know what I want to hear?...and it's all I've been waiting to hear since I got my PS3 in Dec 06:

CUSTOMIZABLE 'F'ING SOUNDTRACK!!!

or AT LEAST the date we can expect it. I have a feeling it's coming out with Home...but if that's the case, then why don't they tell us?

Hi, everyone! Just wanted to provide an update about the PlayStation Store. The store for both the PS3 and PC will be unavailable starting early morning Monday, April 14 through early morning of Tuesday, April 15. You will not be able to access either store during this maintenance window.

As you know, we are preparing to release the revamped interface of the PlayStation Store for the PS3, which will be available on Tuesday. Regular weekly updates of the store will resume on Thursday, April 17, along with the release of GT5 Prologue.

Has anyone seen this new interface?

I've been googling it for a while and I can't seem to find it, just a bunch of fan made pictures.

Ive seen it, but i got no idea where i saw it lol but from what i remember its a Major improvement. just the way they got rid of the scrolling mouse thing says wonders, i hate selecting stuff with that thing.

Edit: i may of seen it on Gametrailers...but i may and probably am wrong bout that lol

The new store is now online. Its rather nice...

Yeah, nothing new in the UK though. Oh btw dude, last episode of Doctor Who? Aaaaaaaaaawesome.

Just dl'd the new update, I agree the store is nice, much better than before. It's a lot smoother than it used to be, and even tho the categories are identical...things just seem easier to find. Also the loading time seems faster.

I JUST DL'D IT MYSELF AND I AGREE, IT'S A MUCH MORE STREAMLINED INTERFACE AND IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY, VERY NICE 10/10!!!:D:up:

This is the update that allows DTS HD MA correct?

NO THAT WAS THE LAST UPDATE, THIS ONE JUST INTRODUCES THE PS STORE NATIVELY INTO YOUR PS3, SO IT'S NOT WEB BASED ANYMORE, IT'S AN APPLICATION IN YOUR SYSTEM AND AS A RESULT IT'S MORE FLUID AND FASTER!!!:D:up:

no 2.20 made the PS3 BD profile 2.0, firmware 2.30 added the store and DTS-HDMA

I have to be honest but I thought the update made the store work a hell of a lot slower for me personally. Usually I would go on and everything would load right away but now the images etc take forever and then disappear again when I scroll down a little

IT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE IT'S NEW AND A FEW MILLION PEOPLE ARE TRYING IT OUT AT THE SAME TIME, GIVE IT A FEW DAYS AND IT WILL MOST LIKELY IMPROVE!!!;):D:up:

This will determine if I buy it or not.

Ubisoft today announced the imminent release of a fully playable demo for Haze, the new first-person shooter set in a harsh future where war is never quite what it seems. Coming exclusively to the PLAYSTATION Network in early May, this playable demo will give gamers a taste of not only the single-player campaign in Haze, but will also allow up to four-player, drop-in drop-out co-op play online.

Developed by shooter experts Free Radical, creators of the critically acclaimed TimeSplitters series, Haze is scheduled for release exclusively on the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system on May 20th 2008.

Hong Kong Store:

The Hong Kong PlayStation Store receives a brand new Lair demo. The weight of the demo is around 1919MB and fully English.
