The Official Pull List Discussion thread

I got to talking about my recent need to cut my comic buying down a bit in the Amazing Spider-Man thread, so when BW wanted to know what I buy, I decided to bring it over here:
What in the name of Linda Danvers do you even buy with seventy dollars? That's more than twenty comic books. Did more than twenty comic books even come out this week?
Okay, so this is the list of things I would've bought. Things I dropped or didn't pick up are in italics.

DARK HORSE COMICS
STAR WARS LEGACY #20 $2.99

DC COMICS
AUTHORITY PRIME #5 (OF 6) $2.99
BLUE BEETLE #24 $2.99
FABLES #70 (MR) $2.99
JACK OF FABLES #20 (MR) $2.99
JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA #13 $2.99
LEGION OF SUPER HEROES #39 $2.99
UNCLE SAM AND THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS #6 (OF 8) $2.99

IMAGE COMICS
INFINITE HORIZON #3 (OF 6) $2.99 (I didn't see this at my shop. I would've bought it if I had.)
URBAN MONSTERS #1 $3.50 (Likewise, I didn't see this. I probably would've at least flipped through it if I had, but I don't know if I would've bought it.)

MARVEL COMICS
BEST SELLING AUTHORS SAMPLER PI (Still got this, since it was free.)
CAPTAIN AMERICA #35 $2.99
DAREDEVIL #105 $2.99 (Alas, I was meant to start reading DD monthly with this, but I guess I'll have to put it off for later and pick up the trade sometime.)
NEW WARRIORS #9 $2.99 (Good, but not really good enough to warrant buying when I'm making cuts.)
SHE-HULK 2 #26 $2.99 (Same as above. Shame, too, since it seemed like PAD was starting to hit his stride with it.)
SPIDER-MAN WITH GREAT POWER #2 (OF 5) $3.99 (As interesting as a tale from Peter's early days might be, I've got enough to buy for the present-day stuff that's actually building new stories.)

THOR #6 $2.99 (Ha, like I'd ever drop this.)
THUNDERBOLTS INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT $2.99 (Thought I'd give it a shot since it's Ellis-free, but I can't give anything a shot at the moment.)
WORLD WAR HULK AFTERSMASH DAMAGE CONTROL #2 (OF 3) $2.99
X-MEN FIRST CLASS VOL 2 #9 $2.99
X-MEN LEGACY #208 DWS $2.99 (I bought this issue, but after reading it I don't know if I'll continue with the next one. It was all right, but I could do without it.)
YOUNG AVENGERS PRESENTS #2 (OF 6) $2.99

COMICS
CLOCKWORK GIRL #3 (OF 4) $1.99 (Didn't see it, would've picked it up if I had.)
HIGHLANDER WAY O/T SWORD #3 $3.50 (Although this was actually much better than the ongoing series, I can't even justify Highlander comics to
myself when I'm on a budget.)
MEGAS #1 (OF 4) (MR) $2.99 (Looked interesting, but I didn't see it at the shop. Probably would've skipped it if I had seen it, anyway. It didn't look
that interesting.)

I've decided to most commercial comics so i can pick them up in trade form

My Current Pull List

T.Bolts
All Star Superman
Doctor Sleepless
Black Summer
Overman
The Order
Narcopolis
Anna Mercury

Ohh and Wild Cards mini when it comes out ...

Guess which writer i like to jerk off to at night ?

No, there's some new term where you buy all the issues, but you don't read them until the story is complete.

How so? 99.9% of the time, comics read better when the stories are read in whole during one sitting. And with smaller books like these, there's no guarantee for a trade.
