BvS The official Robin in BvS thread!

Robin is in BatmanvSuperman or at least his suit and his fate will be shown.

Do you guys see him in person (Flashback, nightmare of Bruce or whatever) or just his suit? Tell us your opinion.

Well, while I don't like Elmayimbe and think he's a *****e, he was right when said there was a scene with the Robin suit on the batcave.

He now says, Eli Snyder may be that Robin (apparently Jason Todd).

I first reported months ago on my instagram feed that we would we see the Robin suit in the batcave in a scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. That scoop was finally confirmed when the scene was featured in the latest trailer which debuted at comic con. At first when I was sitting in Hall H watching the epic trailer unfold, I didn't notice because like everyone else in Hall H, we were overwhelmed with the awesomeness of that trailer.
Upon further review, some very clever fanboys eventually broke the trailer down and boom there it is! The Robin suit in the batcave.
Now the question is, what actor rocked the Robin suit before the Joker defaced it?
I been hearing rumblings for months, it's never been reported, yet it makes a lot of sense.
Zack Snyder's hot shot quaterback son Eli is supposedly playing the dead Robin that was filmed with Jared Leto.

Eli Snyder played the young Leonidas in 300 and young Rorschach in The Watchmen.
Eli Snyder is quite the athlete. He is 6'0" and weighs 174 pounds. As the starting quarterback, Eli put up good stats at Maranatha High Varsity Football. Watching Eli's senior highlight reel, he certainly has the youth, athleticism, and physicality to be Robin in real life!
Due to the secretive nature surrounding the film, it's been hard to confirm this so consider this a hot rumor for now.
Meanwhile, Eli Snyder has a bright future ahead of him as he committed to attend UCLA in the fall and study film.

That could work. I don't remember anything bad about him in 300 or Watchmen, and he seems to have the right build for it. And the scene will probably just be a brief flashback (if it's included at all) with Robin likely wearing his mask, so it's probably not anything that requires an A-List talent.

Well he said first about the Robin suit and we saw it. He's most wrong than right but he has had correct scoops too (EG. Robin, Viola Davis as Waller)

I don't like the guy but I won't pretend other thing just because of it.

A lot of the things he gets right could be easily guessed. Aging Batman in a world-building movie? Robin costume in the batcave!

Having Snyder's son as this Robin would basically mean that we'd get a small scene of him getting killed at some point and whoever this Robin is will permanently stay dead.

A real bummer if you ask me. My hopes of a Cinematic batfamily are dwindling by the days. Maybe we'll get it some day.

This is speculative, actually belongs in the rumor thread. For all we know, there could just be a shot of his costume and that's it for now. Perhaps they wait on flashbacks until SS or a solo Batman film. We really don't know if there will be Robin for sure in the movie.

Gonna be interesting to see what goes down in a Batman solo if we're not gonna get Dick, Barbara, Gordon, etc

Probably more original characters like Rachel and "John" Blake... oh joy.

I guess. Could be interpreted in many different ways. Snyder's son usually gets those small throwaway roles in his dad's movies, so I'm taking that as Robin (Dick, Jason, whoever) was killed and they have no immediate plans to bring him back.

Not getting casting news about some key batman side characters in this movie kinda tells me that either these characters are dead (Gordon) or just aren't being used in this universe.

But from who is the suit? Robin, isnt it? You have Robin (mention, what happened to him affected Bruce and so on... Not only that his suit is there).

Would you feel better if the thread title was updated to read "Robin suit"? Just seems like we're splitting hairs here. We know Robin exists(ed) in the DCEU and we know that concept is introduced in BvS. The point of the thread is to discuss the possibilities. At least, that seemed evident to me.

Not getting casting news about some key batman side characters in this movie kinda tells me that either these characters are dead (Gordon) or just aren't being used in this universe.

Don't lose hope yet man, this is a Batman/Superman movie. I think we should wait until the Batman solo film gets rolling before we worry about key characters not showing up.
