Question...where was this confirmed?

As far as I know his first costume - debuting in Civil War - will be much more home-made (and you'll be able to believe a 16/17 year old actually made it, which they've said and has been rumored...and then he'll get a new official one at some point in the movie. As far as I'm concerned, a hoodie with custom graphics would be easy AF to order for a 16/17 year old...so why wouldn't he be rocking it?

For a proto costume I wouldn't see a problem.

It most certainly did, lol. Still, I'd prefer he not wear the hoodie but rather the suit that resembles the hoodie in design and such.

Well that sucks, because not a single 16/17 year old who needs to take photos for a newspaper he doesn't work at could afford much more than that...so...

After the Russos discussed Aunt May (and Peter) being poor enough to live in a less-expensive apartment (or rent-a-home), I can't see the homemade costume being too good looking personally.
