Had my own crack at removing the black parts of the suit, removing the black lines on the blue and darkening the webbing:

And there, Ladies and Gentlemen, is the perfect live action Spider-Man outfit.

It's not even hard for them to do. They can have Peter remove the tech from the suit and be left with this classic masterpiece.

Looks good. Still not as good as Garfield looked in AS 2. I think part of it has to do with body proportions. Garfield had the perfect body proportions for Spider-Man.

He actually looks older without the black lines tbh. I think they'll be removed when Peter grows up.

The black lines make sense to me as part of the material that allows the suit to go from completely slack to skin tight. From what I've seen in the trailers (I'm trying to avoid the spoilery articles), this suit is siiiick. So great to see Spider-Man done right after being screwed up so many times and especially after the embarrassment of the U2 musical on Broadway... I'm legitimately impressed that Marvel has been able to resuscitate him as perfectly as they have. I hope the movie lives up to what I've seen so far!

However, I'm almost curious to see this same manip, but with the webshooters on the outside of the costume like they are in the movie.

Wow, that's amazing. I need this in my life. I like the movie suit, but this--this is Ditko and Romita in actual real life. Awesome.

The web-shooters being silver/white would be a bonus, but that manip is so good.

the arms look distractingly padded and the arches on the web pattern are slightly angular which is a left over from the techy visual theme, as long as those are fixed and possibly the shape of the belt is adjusted, I'd be fully on board with the design
