did anyone notice in the reflection poster (the first one ) if im not mistaken (on the one that has the black spidey as the reflection) that the lenses on the red and blue spidey are the lenses for the black spidey hence the sharper angle and them being slightly longer... i could be wrong but it seems that way to me

why would sony make a bad posters and good posters? it looks to me that this is the quality that you will get.

hey i also want a poster on the level of spidey 2. the first poster with the reflection was on the level of spidey 2.

Remember the teaser-poster for SM-2!? and now the teaser-poster for SM-3! The similarities are striking!... They both have the same DRAWN look over them. Nothing too fancy! Only the SM-3 teaser poster is some what more intense (but that has nothing to do with it)...

^ Both teaser-posters was the first to ever come out promoting the films, except that SM-3 had that 3-D poster also (yet only in North-American territory! However that actually came out first)

Following the coming time-gap between the OFFICIAL teaser-poster for SM-2, the net was beeing FILLED with NON-OFFICIAL posters promoting the film!... Spider-Man 3 has had many of those also, and it's a BIG mess out there! However here's two of the better ones!

This one is absolutely beautiful!

^ But guys! (dont flip out on me for saying this) This was NEVER a real true official teaser poster! I think that so many has forgotten about this! No, it was a teaser-IMAGE, nothing more! it was posted so long ago, when it was first revealed that Peter Parker would be wearing the black suit in the third installment of the franchise!... I remember clearly that they talked about wanting people to look closer to realize that they were NOT looking at a black and white photo; that spidey was indeed wearing a black costume in "3". I REALLY need someone to jump in and say "hey, I remember that now!".. I'm not BS'ing any one, it's the truth!

Then there's this one!

^ Pretty cool I guess; YET, not a true official poster either! The image (jacket he's wearing, everything) was a shot taken of Tobey on set! They used that for a promotional wallpaper (at first), simply dropping in that background aftewards. Then later, it appeared in the stretched version seen above adding the number "3".

There's so many different poster-types, and most is seen in this very thread. What I wanted to point out about the 2 "posters" above, is the fact that even though they're beeing seen in SOME theaters around the globe (pics from this thread shows that clearly), they are FAR from in every theater! And that, ladies and gentlemen, is because they are not OFICIALLY released by SONY, although Sony dont mind theaters and others getting those type of pics from the net and printing them in HUGE SIZES to promote spidey 3 in their theater (that's just MORE FREE promotion for them). I'm sure a fair amount of theaters in some parts of the world has those two "posters" hanging in THEIR theater, but it's not GLOBAL cause it's NOT officially released out to theaters through Sony.

What ARE released global though is the official SM-3 teaser poster seen at the top of this post! WHY? Because it's OFFICIAL! (never can't seem to stress that enough). ALSO the newly released INTERNATIONAL poster is seen all around the world (also official)

Looking back in this thread the last 10-15 pages, we see that A LOT of promotional pics has been released. Latest, the bus-banner with Spidey (without mask on) and MJ behind him. There's sooooo much of this stuff.

But guys, (I can't really stop laughing over this) the only real TRUE OFFICIAL posters we have for "Spider-Man 3" (the ones seen ALL OVER THE ****ING GLOBE!) is the 1'st teaser-poster and then the newly released international poster (do you even realize this?). Everything else is just UNofficial stuff splattered different places around the world... (also notice that even superherohype.com only has the DOMESTIC teaser poster listed under SM-3)

The badass poster-art released a month prior to the release of SM-2 looked like this!

^ The only poster-art I've seen that comes close to beeing as beautiful as this is what New-Line released for "The Lord of the Rings"!

I'm beeing absolutely serious here; Are you telling me that with such a huge movie like "Spider-Man 3" (and when looking at the final poster-art for SM-2) that those two little DRAWN posters we have now is ALL WE WILL GET!!!? It's ****ing embarrassing! This just can't be! I made this long post only in HOPE of getting you guys (or some of you) to see that this just can't be it!... That these two little insignificant posters we have now just doesn't justify how big this film will be! There's GOTTA be something exstremely cool for final poster-art coming our way, something that'll symbolize the grandness of this long awaited SM-3! Can't you see how NON-acceptible this is! I've seen a lot better FANMADE posters for SM-3 then the official art released through Sony (thus far)! That beeing said, dont get me wrong! I like the teaser poster for SM-3 a whole lot, but it is just a TEASER-POSTER!... There is something called FINAL-THEATRICAL-MOVIE-POSTER-ART! And I aint seen jack-**** to it yet. So I'm praying to God that it's coming!!! With the OVER-USE of different trailer's in theaters, Sony should've concentrated on creating some beautiful poster-art for this film (which I hope is already finished and ready to be displayed SOON!).

Think about the film! Think about the grandness of it, and MORE importantly think about the VILLAINS!!!!!!!!!!! The possibilities are ENDLESS to let the creator's go WILD with the most beautiful and stunning poster-art ever made for a superhero flick! You can't deny it, and what we have now is just down right pathetic! I hope this post hasn't been in total vain; otherwice I give up! Couldn't explain this any better.

ps. as BAD as X3 was, they had some exstremely cool poster-art!!! Should that pathetic piece of CRAP's poster-art beat SM-3's!!! Come on.

Actually, I'm not especially in to the "DESTINY" one with spidey coming towards us... that's too plain... But the other two are intense I think, and I haven't seen that from any of the other SM-3 posters; only the one with spidey sitting in the rain, and that's not even an official poster...
I just like the style of the SM-2 posters a whole lot... I like the look of them, and the semi-realism they provide... Couldn't say the same for the SM-3 posters... I'm just really hoping that we'll be getting some cool ones for spidey 3 soon.

Spider-Man appears on Nagoya TV Tower

NAGOYA -- Popular movie superhero Spider-Man has made an appearance in Nagoya, as an inflated figure attached to Nagoya TV Tower.

The six-meter tall figure was attached to the tower on Sunday, at a height 40 meters above the ground.

Since the 180-meter-tall tower will stop transmitting television waves in 2011 when analogue broadcasting ends, officials have been looking for new ways to use the tower. Spider-Man is the first inflatable figure to be hung on the tower.

The figure, surrounded by a spider's web, will be on display until April 10, perhaps sparking more interest in the film "Spider-Man 3," which is set to open at theaters across Japan on May 1. (Mainichi)

I just don't unserstand why we did get a Doc Ock poster back in december 2003, almost 7 months before the start of "Spider-Man 2" in 2004.

And now, we still don't have a decent Sandman poster. And I really mean Poster (in high def), and not some pic taken with the mobile phone at comic con. We neither have really cool posters of New Goblin or Venom. C'mon guys... they are the three villains in this film. Where are their character posters???

yeah i remember i was in a PC store when i was looking through some computers and i saw that photo i didnt know it was from the third movie because it havent the 3 then i ask some guy that worked there and he told me that the site was up already then i was all like freaking out,and then the photo i thought you couldnt see very well the suit because it was of night and after seeing that the suit was black i was all like... .

I'm surprised as well that they haven't released new poster artwork with the villains.If they're still planning to do so they're leaving it awfully late.
