I agree that it would have been nice to see posters for the villains (besides the ones from Comi-con). It makes sense though after reading the article about the Spider-man promo machine. Ultimately, they're marketing the whole franchise at this point -- not just SM3. For Sony, it's not worth the money to make posters for villains who won't be around for SM4 and beyond.

They're spending well over 300 million on this movie surely they could have used some of that cash on some posters for the villains. They've done so for all the movies why not this one?
