The Amazing Spider-Man The Official Spider-Man Fan Art & Manips Thread! 3.0 Rebirth - Part 4

The design has definitely grown on me. I think my only gripe is the fact that his teeth are more human looking than monstrous.

Nothing major, just changed the head to what I think looks more menacing...

Very nice. I really do like the Lizard's look, even with or without the lab coat or the snout.

That design allows him to be beastly at one moment, and then at one moment we could see the human inside him

I had an idea of doing two of these. One is The Lizard with the caption "Become the monster" whereas The Spider-Man will have the caption "Become the hero."

Nice work, but work on resizing the character images a little better. :)

Saw this on DeviantArt, thought it was pretty awesome.

That's just a piece of art, Spidey 62. Fantastic job of finding it!

SO...check this out. I sent my posters that I posted on here weeks ago to a company that makes movie posters in the industry. They've done all the superhero movie posters and so many more. Dream job. Haha. ANYWAYS, to my knowledge, they just released some new posters for The Amazing Spider-man that are oddly similar to the ones I posted AND sent to them with my resume. Not saying they ripped me off..but its weird. I feel I may have a shot in the industry now...(still dreaming, i know)

HOLYASSBALLSDUDETHATSAWESOME.
Man, go for it the posters are amazingly well done, the fact that they saw yours and based it on the official ones is great

Haven't gotten them to respond for weeks. So I'm kinda thinking it's a dead cause, but here is to hope for the future!

You should definitely get the job. You're clearly talented and know what you're doing.

And those posters that were officially released do look similar to your. I hope they didn't "plagiarize" your work without at least acknowledging you by giving you a response.

:wow:

Sue the company! :hehe:

I can't sue them, nor do I feel I have a right to. I don't own the rights to the property anyways. Haha. I just thought it was really funny/cool how similar they are. Quite interesting! I mean, did it cross my mind that someone might have seen the poster and think, "damn, that's kind of cool, we could do that but better." yes...but it is a long shot. :P

I had noticed this as well the other day. Both the new posters looks a tad similar to your Manips. Guess it's a great honor to have such a talent that they decided to use it.
Great job... at least we can give ya a few 'attaboys or a No Prize"

Keep On Thwipin'!!!
Sam

in all due respect dude you ripped off their ideas....so they didnt take the idea from you, you took it from them. They released the poster and wallpaper in late April, your manips were posted in may which means they were done before yours....

Poster with Spider in the street released on April 27th...

Thanks for the dates on those! I appreciate it. I can honestly tell you that when I was working on that Spider logo in the street, I hadn't seen the spider in the street on that poster. The other poster there isn't much of a concept to..just him standing there. Simple. What I was more talking about was the odd similarities in layout/composition and how they overall just look similar. By no means was I saying they stole from me. I thought I made that clear. Haha. Just real cool to see how similar the two new posters were to the ones I had done prior to these specific posters being released.

Another thing is... Spidey in a city backdrop is hardly a new concept when it comes to posters. Official or fanmade.

No offense or anything, I like your work, spiderfan08.

I'm gonna go ahead and say the symbol-only one was also a coincidence, considering they've had the glowing symbol in the backgrounds of the other posters we've gotten. They probably had a symbol-only one ready as well. Well, they did. As we now can see. lol
