Filming is in two days! So, it's a good time methinks to start the thread. Now my babies, Onward!

But Jameson not being in it is just another absurd to add to the ever growing list of absurds this flick is already displaying.

So you have Captain Stacy and not Jameson?

I guess only Emma Stone will save this movie from being a total waste of one's time. And Ifans, of course (and I hope they don't mess with his chances by creating a ridiculous Lizard make-up or CGI).

calm down drama queen!,A character like JJJ is not needed to determine a Spidey movie to be a waste/good or not,Yes he is a big part of the Spiderman mythology But you make it seem like Spidey himself will not be in the movie or the love interests not being Stacy or MJ!

Think about the positives than bitc*ng about the negatives!,The Bugle will still be seen&mentioned and JJJ will supposedly referenced, which means at least that will be a build up to him&Daily Bugle for the next one.....which also means lots of nice new versions of characters for the sequel or so.

I agree LuisTX

JJJ is not necessarily needed the first film of this reboot. He was obviously seen the past 3 films, let's focus on Peter Parker this rebooted film, the surrounding characters of Gwen Stacy and Connors, etc, will be sufficient. Introducing JJJ and Osborn in the sequel is a given. We all know it. It will be rewarding if anything to see these staple characters back in the sequel

But I understand people's gripes.

In response to whomever asked about this Spiderman having a parkour influence, I would have to assume yes, as that's David's specialty, but who knows for sure. As for whether or not that was him doing the flip into the truck, I can confirm that it was (as per his mother, my aunt).

I was one person asking about it,and posted a 9 min video of parkour moves!,I read your other posts and thanx for the small info!,I appreciate it.

Sure thing, and I'll be sure to post it here if I find out anything else that I'm at liberty to disclose.

Cool. I had a feeling it was him. Is he the only stunt double for Spidey?

Looks like they had a sale on closing threads at the mod store.

I can't say for sure if he's the only one, but I can say for sure that he is the primary one. To my knowledge there was a second stunt double also slated to split the part with him, but for whatever reason is no longer involved in production, so now David handles the part himself.

I see. Tell him to keep up the good work. The flip into the back of the truck was awesome.

Speaking of which, I wonder how many stunts Andrew will do himself compared to the stunt doubles.

Threads are being maxed out at 1k posts (or so I was told)

It was 10k, yeah.

Also, just in case some people didn't realize, there's a link under "Thread Tools" in the toolbar up top to subscribe to the thread. You don't have to reply to re-subscribe.

That was me sir and thanks for the info.

Peter didn't meet Gwen until college if I remember.

He didn't meet Harry or Norman until college either. Either way, MJ didn't come along until later.

This is the first day in a while that we haven't gotten any news on the reboot.

Shame.
