Thor was never Tanarus. Tanarus is Ulik in disguise thanks to Karnilla's magic. Thor actually died and got sent to the Demogorge with no memory of who he was, but he resisted until he remembered, which caused Mjolnir to return to him. He then escaped and led some other doomed gods back to Earth. He and Tanarus are set to have their big showdown in the next issue of The Mighty Thor, which takes place before AvX.

You have no idea how relieved I was to find this out. lol :yay:

Alien gods, by all indications. One of them's a war god. She kind of kicked some ass when she finally realized this.

Franklin needs to put an end to that **** right now.

"Will you help me get my marriage back, Franklin?"

"Sure Spidey Man! Let's go get Mephisto!"

:ff: :ff: :ff:

I missed this,.. sorry.
(smile)
Franklin could solve so many issues in the marvel universe:

(Points At Spiderman) "Remember"

(Points At Octopus) "Heal"

(Points at Earth) " More Mutants"

Points @ certain Marvel editorial staff members - "Less Filling"

Seriously:
I need a score card to catch up after almost a year w/o marvel.

PHEW!! That clears things up. :)

^Franklin should get started on some of those things right now. I mean, since Dissassembled, what have Certain Members of the Editorial Staff done but disband the superhero groups (only to revive them) kill off characters (only to resurrect them) and try to wipe out the mutants??

So I know Spider-Man doesn't see the bank from all of the merchandise floating around with his face on it. But surely there are other heroes who do? Four Freedom's Plaza's gotta have a gift shop with FF merch, right?

Yeah.

The whole reason Reed even decided to make them world famous super heroes is so he could make their lives a little better since he totally ruined them.

Iron Man and most of the Avengers as well I'm sure.

Ok. This seems like the ideal thread to ask this question...i have a 4 year old daughter who is in love with all things marvel. Im not a comic book collector, but i would like to start buying her some books regularly. Shes pretty into thor and hulk mostly. But i dont know really where to start. Comic book stores are so overwhelming for the novice. Any suggestions? Any particular story lines or good entry points to begin with??? Thanks in advance. :)

Check the recommendations thread below this one, it should have the name of tons of Thor and Hulk story-lines that are available in trade format on Amazon.

yeah, like i said, i thought the stupid questions thread was a good spot to ask. I dont even know if most comics are appropriate for kids this age. Shes a smart kid. Loves reading, knows all of the characters from the shows, so i thought I'd find out if there was anything i could start her out on. Thanks for the recommendations!

That is a pretty awesome series too.

(Not Thor- or Hulk-related, though.)

Oh, there's also the recent Power Pack stuff, which includes Hulk and Power Pack and Thor and the Warriors Four volumes.

There's some cute digital comics (FREE READING!) in Marvel's Kids site (and games too for when she gets a bit older) you could show her. Not so much Thor and Hulk, but we got Franklin Richards (as seen above, he's adorable) and Power Pack. No Marvel kid must be without the Power Pack. :)

Spider-Man still has an all-ages book doesn't he? It's only 10-15 issues in so I'm sure there's a trade or two out there...

Ill hit up all of those! Thanks guys! The little one will appreciate it, as do I.

^hahaha what about the Black Widow one! KIDDING O_O

Is it true that back when Sam Raimi was still involved with the Spider-Man films, that he wanted to change Felicia Hardy/Black Cat into the Vulturess, daughter of the Vulture, just to avoid the inevitable Catwoman comparisons?
