I thought Red She-Hulk could never transform back. I haven't read anything with her that's just what I heard.

Strange frightened her,.. and she changed back,.. her trigger to power down is fear.

What's the deal with Daniel Way's Deadpool Vol. 11 HC? Did it get pushed back to Dec to collect the rest of his run in an oversized HC?

What is Matt Fraction's run on Invincible Iron Man? Is it worth reading?

You mean How is Fraction's run on Iron Man?

Boring.

I meant what issues does it span. But it's boring? :(

Fractions run kicked off with Invincible Iron Man #1 thru issue 30-something then it went back to original numbering @ 500 then up until now.

I thought his World's Most Wanted arc was terrific as was Stark Disassembled, then I thought it rapidly went downhill.

Yes, both of those were good, but both kinda went on two or three issues too long.

At best it's kinda like......eh.

Stark Disassembled was only 4 parts, that's not too bad. I know there were a lot of complaints at the time of WMW but I think when it's read from start to finish, like in trade format, it's pretty epic storytelling.

Just caught up on the AvX, and wondering - Why is Professor X in some secluded place on Earth now doing nothing?

Still not an acceptable excuse to me in a periodical format. "Man, that was a great story... if you completely ignore the very nature of the medium it was presented in." :o

I've heard Fraction's Iron Man run reads better in trade format. They have hardcover collections of it, and I plan on Amazoning it to get it for cheap.

The only Iron Man stories I've read are Demon in a Bottle and Extremis. I need to expand my Iron Man library, and that seems like as good a place as any to start.

I agree. Now THAT was cool. I actually like Resilient a lot, but after the mess in Fix Me and the even bigger mess during Fear Itself it still keeps going downhill despite that. Literally--the next arc is called Long Way Down, right?

Dr. Doom had a time machine. Why didn't he, y'know, use it to take over the world?

He's taken over the world at least once and counter earth once too. I think it's canon anyway. It was when he had the purple man trapped and amplified his powers under his control. He gave it back because it was boring.

Yeah, I remember that story. But why does he have a time machine just sitting around?

Because, as I've said, numerous times, all you can do is create an alternate timeline. He goes back to the present after doing whatever it is he was gonna do to ensure he takes over the world, and nothing he did will have happened. It will just be one more universe the Exiles have to fix or whatevs. :o

Right, now I remember some of X-Factor's recent time-travel jaunts where they made a big deal about how someone had learned to affect the current timeline rather than create alternate ones. I also suddenly remember that Peter David wrote X-Factor and Hulk: Future Imperfect.

What are some good recent storylines i should read? I'm reading Rick Remender's x-force right now and its great

DD, Journey into Mystery, Punisher and Venom have been Marvel's best series for a while now.
