Nothing beats the excitment and hype for a new SSB game!

Looks like the game earns its "Ultimate" title. It seems to be a comprehensive accumulation of all the games thus far, with every character returning (and probably every stage?). The 3DS and WiiU content are now in one place. You can play it with a gamecube controller and the mechanics have been finessed. Ridley has been a huge fan request for forever now.

Now, I'm not sure I love the idea of having three Links and Pichu instead of a healthy dose of new characters...

On the official site, Vega's Theme has been confirmed for the Ryu Stage. This is a big deal personally because I felt they really, really dropped the ball hard on the SF and FF (Final Fantasy) songs in SSB4. The variety for Ryu and Cloud's stages was piss poor.

I really hope we get more than two tracks for Midgar, and that we get tracks beyond FF7. Music from any FF, and some Chrono tracks please.

I want to know how many new characters we'll be getting. So far it's just Inkling and Ridley. I want to know who's next.

I think an ARMs character is a safe bet. I think Rex/Pyra from Xenoblade seems likely. With everything else being true, I think the Simon Belmont rumor could be true. After that, with him acknowledging clones, quite a few more options.

I selfishly want another Zelda character. Toon Link was the last new addition. But with three Links in this game...

Impa, Sidon, Toon Zelda, or one of the Champions would be soooo cool.

I want Dixie Kong really bad. Another Kong feels like a must. Crash would be a cool surprise pick, but I feel like he's the kinda bomb you drop at E3.

RIDLEY! So I wonder what changed the developers minds?

Sakurai seems to be taking a lot of the fan's comments into consideration with this game. Even going so far as acknowledging the legit clones. So that is likely why they put in Ridley.

Also, according so some who have analyzed all the footage, they have identified 75 stages so far. In comparison, Smash 4 for Wii U had 55.

How did Smash 4 have 55 stages? I thought it was around 15.

I'm thinking they might try and bring back every stage too along with every fighter.
