I'm not arguing that it isn't going to get cancelled quickly, just saying that they'll cancel Hawk and Dove first. Batwing will sell better than that book simply because it's Batman related. And if I remember correctly, Didio said they'd be giving all of these book 12 issues and then would start cancellations. I'm not sure if I believe they'll stick with that though.

Nope, the books have six issue guarantees. I'm expecting Batwing, I, Vampire, and OMAC to be among the first to get cancelled.

It's like I said to you before, only like 3-4 of the series announced have actually been mini-series. Almost all of these titles, including all of the ones launching September, were solicited and announced as ongoing.

I can see Batwing lasting eight months. But there is no way in hell that I, Vampire, O.M.A.C., Blackhawks, Grifter, Voodoo, Sgt. Rock and the Men of War, and a couple of others will last beyond their initial six issue guarantees. Unless digital sales for those titles are really good, readers so far have shown either apathy towards those titles or flat out disdain for their mere existence.

I still think it would look perfect if the costume covered her legs. would make the suit look more "complete."

it's also interesting to note in that picture of Kara above that she is bleeding from the lip.

perhaps, like her cousin, this is a sign that the relaunched Kryptonians won't exactly be completely invulnerable and that they can get injured ( hence the need for armor ).

i'm not sure how I feel about Superman and Supergirl being vulnerable like that. it will be interesting at the beginning, but being "bulletproof" is a staple of Superman and co.

Well there is being bulletproof then there is being bulletproof...as in missleproof. Which I wouldnt mind if that harmed them a little. But of course others like their Supers more powerful.

ok......this is probably reaching for straws here.......

but when I look at Kara's pic above, another thing I notice is that her S symbol looks very "sharp," almost "lightning bolt" like. it kind of reminds me of the Superman Red/Blue S symbol.

they said that Kara would be getting new/different powers. could that perhaps be a clue??

I know it's probably reading too much into it, but......hmmmm.........
