I was thinking of getting a tattoo that says, "R.I.P. Mamaw 1942-2006" cuz that is what I use to call my grandma. But anyone have any good ideas of how it would look? Maybe putting something more into it?

tbh tattoos that are just words aint tht great.

I disagree, I think that a lot of tattoos that are just script look beautiful. However, I'm overall not a fan of "RIP" and "In Memory" tattoos, period. I think they usually look corny as hell. The sentiment is nice, but I think you can remember a loved one without getting permanent reminders on your body.

i mis phrased that sorry. i ment the text tattoos with peoples names and dates with them, with out and sort of graphic to go with the text i dont think they look nice.

as for a in memory tattoo, they are far more effective imo if they are pictures instead of words. memorial tattoos i have no problem with when they are done right.

did you mean the bird or the logo? i've seen some really amazing phoenix bird ones, i think X-Chick has one, and it was beautiful.

if you mean the logo, i don't think i've ever seen one, but I used to toy with the idea of getting one

Thats exactly what I used to call my grandmother. She died in 05 had alzhiemers for years and we took care of her. It was really hard ya know. Anyways I used to have this picture of her flippin the double bird and I so wanted to get a portrait of it so I could show it to all my devout catholic judgemental relatives and be like "HAHA You didnt know Mamaw was this cool huh?!?!!" haha
