Is this show gonna be a bad idea or what? Replacement for Smallville? HAHAHA.

Add your own input.

I honestly love this idea and it's obvious why they're making this show. There are people out there that keep on asking when they'll see Robin in a Batman movie... and they're not going to get it. This is an attempt to keep Robin out of the Batman movies but still please the fans who want to see him in live action.

The television format works better for the character in my opinion. Not only that, think of when he becomes Robin... eventually ending up as Nightwing in later seasons! And you know we're going to see some great characters from the Batman mythos in this thing. I say hellyeah. Can't wait.

I think this idea is horrid. If they want to replace Smallville they should do a Justice League spin off or Live action Teen Titans, jsut with the smallville treatment. DJ? What the Hell

I dont know that we will see him as Robin or Nightwing or even have any Batman villains. They will probably keep in the same way of "No Flights, No Tights" that Smallville stuck to.

Why not just make it a show about Robin and say he no longer works with Batman?

I just hope this show doesn't go the way of Smallville and have that whole no superhero costume policy.

I don't know enough about this show to judge yet. All I know is that it's about a family of traveling circus performers which is enough to interest me. Making those people the Grayson family and placing them in the DC universe is only a plus for me so...Yeah, this gets a .

I can't wait to see the cameos in this one.

I don't find it that interesting personally. I don't care for robin let alone his life before robin.

I have always felt Dick "DJ"(LAME) Graysons real adventure starts when he is Robin bah..

lol! Just you wait and see. Dick DJ Grayson? Modern take on the character? They'll probably make him a young black kid with interracial parents. They'll be known as "da fly'n Graysons" cuz they so fly. Just wait and see. Prepare for the worst. Don't start hitting me with the racist comments either. I mean you wouldn't want to see Lucius Fox played by a white guy would you?

More predictions!

"DJ" Grayson will be black...

The actor playing him will be a 21 year old trying to pass as a 16 year old.

John and Mary Grayson will be an interracial couple....

The setting will probably be some bad hybrid of the comics and the Nolan Batman universe.....

No appearances of Batman, Alfred, Gordon, Joker, or anything like that. However, they'll be mentioned. Don't be suprised if we see Christian Bale's face on a magazine cover or some crap to tie this garbage in with the movies.

Expect there to be some original generic character. A white rookie twenty something cop maybe. He probably befriends the young DJ after he helps him stop a crack deal at the High School.

DJ will have a couple of white girlfriends in this series. Look for a young Barbara Gordon eventually.

DJ will probably have a white best friend. A real nerd. Probably play World of Warcraft, Guitar Hero, and posts at The Superhero Hype message boards.

Look for alot of themes of racism.

Look for the lead bad guy to Tony Zucco (he'll be black also).

Look for other characters from the Batman universe with weird twist such as Black Mask, Firefly, Clayface (probably a teenager), Mad Hatter, and maybe even an appearance by Cillian Murphy as The Scarecrow.

umm chances are Dick is going to be some 24 year old pretty boy playing 17 with an ethnic best friend.

He will be called DJ Robin!

How witty! And and interesting spin on the character!

I think it has the potential to be an interesting show and that all we know about it thus far is the single page of information we've been provided. How could anybody possibly have any sort of judgements yet? Well, other than that this is the Hype.

I just don't see how people are so quick to condemn the show. Nolan did a modern take on Batman and he didn't have any of that stuff listed. I think the writing can really save a show. I mean the premise of Smallville sounds great but if you're not a hardcore fan you're probably trashing it left and right. As long as the drama and action is good I'm there. I'm not so hung up on the name Grayson. The comic book relation doesn't change my expectations for a tv show all of a sudden. I watch shows without superheroes all the time. It's no big deal.

I mean an ep where Grayson wanders onto the streets of Gotham and gets into trouble and runs into Catwoman would be pretty cool to me.

Oh my God! This is horrible! Horrible, I say to you, horrible! I like Robin, but, but I can't even find the words. Wait-a-minute, I think I found one. It is: LAME.

Why didn't they make a show about Batman's journey around the world? First season would end with him returning to Gotham.

The whole show premises looks to capture the popularity that Smallville once had and to ride the coat tails of Batman's popularity. The show sounds ridiculous.

I would have much rather had seen a Nightwing show.
