The first thread was more of a pre-discussion, this is an official thread with links and downloads.

Let's get a convo going. I think we have a lot of talk about, in particular the scene where I have the Optimus quote posted.

I have mixed feelings about this trailer as it stands

I think they are selling a serious tone(which they always have with trailers) but they are missing out on their chance to show the audience what's new about this. (Sentinel Prime, Dempsey, Shockwave)

I'm also having a hard time with the digital format, the footage/city just seems so clean and kinda empty.

lastly, the could have kept that last line without the spoiler.

Great points. I think I am just excited to see TF footage, but the trailer was mehh. Other than it being on a larger scale, the footage did not seem much different than ROTF trailers. Nothing really new stood out, other than that final scene where the building is being crushed. Man, those Decepticon things don't even look like transformers anymore....

When Prime says that they shouldnt lose hope in themselves there is a space shuttle mounted on a weird cybertronian rocket right behind him. I'm guessing they fake leave Earth on the government's command?

Also, does anyone know if the Autobots get any big guns? All i've heard is about the new Ferrari bot. Any chance for like... Omega Supreme tearing Decepticons a new one with his claw or is Prime gonna kill everyone himself... AGAIN?

Its somewhat of a mystery as to what happened to the Twins.

They've been sighted and spotted during filming in a new alt mode. Same vehicle only a black color job with their original colors as stripes.

Michael Bay said they wouldn't be in this film but everything seems to be pointing otherwise.

If the ancient cybertronian technology on the Moon can be accessed by anyone, maybe Shockwave goes and gets it by himself (makes sense, he is already in space) and becomes rogue. And Autobots/Decepticons team up to beat him? Idk, could work.

all i can say is wow!! i had to join the forum because i am so excited over this trailer, i have been waiting a long time with ya boys, i was even dragged to go see sucker-punch with the pursuation from my girl of "theres a transformers trailer"

i cant believe where they are going with this?! optimus saying "your on your own" what the heck?!

judging by the trailer what do you think the story line is going to be? who wakes up all the sleepy decepitcons on the moon? WHERE IS MEGATRON?! and who is starscream fighting on the roof?!?

+1 when it was released that sentinel prime was the "orange guy/ unicron" i was wondering what hes doing on a ship full of decepticons?!

I think we were all have certain expectations, for whatever reasons.

I do think it does enough and has enough spectacle to mess with the other movies.

From what I read, Paramount is being so frigging close guarded with this one it's insane.

thank you very much, i have been here for awhile but much more frequently especially after coming back from sucker punch disappointed

i too noticed the futuristic looking space shuttle in the back ground

as for BIG guns when prime says "you lied" look at the bottom of the screen, theres a auto with 2 huge guns mounted on his back

I didn't catch Shockwave shooting at Megatron, and two, Shockwave looked like he was purpleless. I thought that the trailer was pretty bland and stale (well basically). I'm tired of Tyrese's and Josh's character.
