Because the simulated depth sucks. It muddles and dims everything. If we had perfect 3D, that would be one thing (Avatar really was a beauty in 3D). But IMAX is crystal clear. Post-conversion 3D is not.JAK®;20151173 said:How does the screen being bigger enhance the experience more than simulated depth?
I wasn't suggesting there's a problem with the sound in regular theaters, just that the IMAX sound system is GODLY.Eh, the only problem I've ever noticed with the sound in a regular theater is if they're having technical problems.
from what i hear the 3D is not terrible just not great
keep in mind this is not clash of the titans 3D
I wonder when Rottentomatoes is going to put up some more of these recent reviews. All these new ones have been positive, it's score is only going to go up until it's American release.
With 29 reviews and only 2 negative(one was only partially negative to be honest), I can see this when all things are said and done going no lower than the seventieth percentile.
Really? You think it'll drop from 93% down to 70% due to the American critics?
Unlike the Australian movie critics, the American movie critics won't actually care for some 'Australian' guy playing 'Thor'. That is something that I really dislike about the reviews that have come from the Australian critics, it makes them sound far too easily impressed and obtuse, imo. Chris Hemsworth playing Thor shouldn't be praised just because he is an Australian actor. I am expecting the percentage to take more of a mild 'beating' because of it, aside from other factors.
