The Official Thor thread

Completely off the art topic a bit, but if Straz is bringing the Asgardians back from the dead, might that also include the Executioner? (Enchantress old flame)...

That would be cool. I'd love to see the Executioner set up as something of a rival for Thor. He's one of the very few other Asgardians who could hold his own against Thor in a fight. Of course, Thor destroyed the Bloodaxe in the last volume of his comic, but if Asgard and the gods can come back, I don't see why the Bloodaxe couldn't as well.

Haha, imagine Asgard with swirly black and white **** everywhere. "Verily, my brethren hath discovered yon LSD from Midgard!" :D

Yeah. I highly doubt I'll be convinced enough to actually buy this, but a good in store flip through might happen. ;)

Ur teh reazon that comic storez lose moneY!!

Did Enchantress actually like him? I always thought he was just good muscle for her.

Yeah, it was slightly horrible how the Bloodaxe was destroyed. It just made it look basic and normal.

Dude, it was destroyed by no less than the Odinforce. If Odin's power can't trump any other Asgardian magic, why the hell is he the skyfather of the pantheon?

I thought the Enchantress was fond of the Executioner, but not really in love with him. She was comfortable around him and enjoyed the fact that he was so smitten he would let her walk all over him yet he'd still do anything for her.

Yeah, but I mean, it was just...gone. No flashy explosion. Nothing. Just...gone. He just smashed it. It'd be like Galactus just smacking Thor out of the sky with nothing more than his hand.

And to the second. In an Umar/Hulk sort of way?

He melted it, he didn't smash it. I guess it would've been nice if it were destroyed in a prettier way, but I was all right with how it went.

Not in an Umar/Hulk way. He wasn't just her little sex slave. She did genuinely care about him a little bit, but more like a pet or a ******ed friend. I think she pitied him as much as she cared about him because she knew she'd never really love him.
He has a really sweet ride?
Sleipnir is pretty hot. Eight legs are better than four.

Plus he had Spinners on the horse shoes. It was pretty pimped out.

So Thor beats on ******s?

Melted it, yeah. I remember now. Either way, it'd be like Mjolner just being reduced to slag in a fire, since it was like something akin to Mjolner.

Yeah, it was supposed to be quite powerful. However, if Odin or King Thor had a mind to melt Mjolnir with the Odinforce, I don't think they'd have any problem doing that, either.

Something funny a person on another Thor message board brought up: Skurge himself is listed at Class 70 in the old OHotMU's, but the Bloodaxe's curse could transform mortals into Class 100 bruisers. Kinda weird.

If Turner could get the "waist" thing figured out, I wouldn't mind seeing his work. I'd rather look at a twisted middle than a sausage Thunder God. :o
