This isn't official, but it's still accurate.

In Marvel, there are 3 divisions, heavy weight, middle weight, and light weight. Obviously, the tougher one is, the higher they are and if you're the toughest, you're a heavy weight.

I didn't include all the people, just the main ones.
________________________________________________________

HEAVY WEIGHT:

Thor
Silver Surfer
Odin
Living Tribunal

__________________________________________________________

MIDDLE WEIGHT:

Spiderman
Hulk
Thing
Colossus
Galactus
Cyclops

___________________________________________________________

LIGHT WEIGHT:

Wolverine
Celestials
Captain America
Iron Man

Celestials, Hulk and Galactus should be moved into the heavyweight.

Iron Man should be moved into middleweight.

Cyclops should be dropped down into lightweight.

Haha, wow, that list is all kinds of wrong. Cyclops taking on Celestials?

Spider-Man on the same level as the Hulk?

Cyclops stronger than Iron Man?

Colossus stronger than the Celestials?

Well, Galactus always gets beat by F4, Spiderman always beats the Hulk, and the celsetials are only aliens.

- Galactus doesn't always get beat by the FF, and there's always a catch to that defeat.
- Spider-Man has fought Hulk a few times, and he hardly ever wins.
- Thanos is also "just" an alien, but he can decimate just about any hero or villain from Earth. The Celestials are incredibly powerful.

Yeah. You obviously don't know much about the power levels of Marvel universe characters. Educate yourself.

I thought since Asgard was a planet of gods, how could an alien race defeat a planet full of God's? If this happened, then I just 'educated' myself.

Asgard is not a planet. It's a separate dimension. Also yes, gods live there, but that doesn't equal GOD. There's quite a few superheroes that can overpower an Asgardian god and loads of aliens too. What do you think the Silver Surfer is?

Yeah... no. He is the herald of Galactus, a cosmically empowered alien, but an alien no less.

I didn't know an alien could be a God. That's where I might be mistaken. Are the celestials God;s too then?

Thorandsurfer, i think you seriously need to sit down with a bunch of comics to get the general grasps of what works and how things go down in the marvel universe.

There are so many ways to group these people

in terms of powers, fighting ability, leadership skills, potential damage, strength, durability, intelligence,etc....

it's quite clear that you are somewhat unaware of what you are talking about. Perhaps asking these questions in the FAQ section may be a better idea instead of making wild assumptions about things.

no malice intended

Oh, and is the Surfer more powerful than Galactus because the surfer got the power known as the poower cosmic. Unless that is from Galactus too?

There's lots of alien 'gods'. Silver Surfer ain't one of them.

And no, Silver Surfer is not more powerful than Galactus. Galactus made Silver Surfer. Seriously, do you even read comics?

Seriously, this guy is just a troll. Theres no way someone is actually this mis-informed.

Thorandsurfer. Read some comics. Use the "Stupid Questions" sticky on the front page. Stop making pointless threads. Thank you. :)
