The Official TIH Preview Thread

If you look close you can see the Hulk has caved in the right side of Abom's chest. Kinda narsty.

This is to everyone who wants to download any Quicktime clip to their PC.

1. Click the clip you want to watch (if you want the street fight in 1080p then click it at Yahoo Movies)
2. Just leave the Quicktime player for a while, let it load the entire clip
3. Once it is loaded click "File" then "Save As" and choose a folder to save it in to your PC
4. Done! You now have it on your PC!

And just to make it clear to everyone, the final fight is not 26 minutes. Leterrier said he was misquoted and the final act is 26 minutes with the battle being around 10-15 minutes. He says it is still a lengthy battle but a 26 minute battle would get kind of boring as their is only so much you can do with two monsters.
that tip to download the clip doesnt work for me, i click file and save as doesnt work for me, i'd need to use Quicktime pro

Weird.

I am just using the regular Quicktime and it worked fine for me.

I have tried it for each resolution and it works. I let the loading bar reach the end and not play the clip during this. Then once loaded click file, save as and make sure that save as self-contained movie is selected and it works.

The once saved you then click play.

Doesn't work. When you right click and select "Save target as" only a HTML link is saved not the clip.
No. When you right click the links below and select "Save target as" you can save the file as "qtlHD.qtl".

The CGI is way better in this then in the last Indiana Jones-film. I think it was ILM who did that film, was it not? In a great movie the only drawback was the over-the top CGI-ending, almost as bad as the ending in Pirates of the Caribbean 3.

ILM will not be missed :)

Brandon Lee was a terrible actor???? What movie did YOU watch????

your just trying to get a rise and for a moment you did. Good work...you lost me on the Brandon Lee biz and not knowing that History of violence and Sin City were Comic book adaptations.

Apparently the same movie I did.

Oh, and she's just trying to get a rise...? Ironic coming from you. :hehe:

Nice fight!! Can't wait to see the whole thing in theaters.:woot:

His voice and screams are GREAT. It also reminds me of the 82 cartoon. Oh how great this movie will be.:wow::bh:

It's nice to see some footage out but I don't think i will be spoiling myself by watching it.

This is the big pay off fight people have been waiting for, I think i can wait a lil longer for it.

Why does the Hulk and The Abomination sound like Optimus Prime? From Michael Bay's film, that is.

Because all monsters sounds like this in movies unfortunately. If there's anything I'm slightly disappointed in it's this.

Then again, how should monsters sound when they talk? I'm sure it's not easy.

Really? It looked like your basic comic book movie to me. Tragic origin, become hero, villain shows up coincidentally at the same time with complicated domination scheme involving wacky device. Throw in the random love interest (they even went as far as making up a character just because they felt Batman NEEDED a Mary Jane so badly) and the whole thing just felt pretty formulaic for me...And it's one of my favorite comic book movies. But greatness?

Greatness would be telling something original. Greatness would be telling that story well and involving a complicated web of relationships. It's why Blade II and Hellboy are two of my favorite comic book movies. I just loved how the characters interacted with each other. With Batman Begins we were pretty much following Bruce Wayne around like a 3rd person video game encountering person after person and taking what he needs. I didn't even feel his connection with Alfred that much and the Rachel Dawes relationship felt forced.

That's just one aspect though. The score, the characters, the actors, the chemistry, it all has to fit together like a perfect puzzle and Batman Begins didn't do that for me. I like the movie out of sheer bias and if I wasn't a Batman fan I'd probably have the same response to it as my friends and family which is "It's alright."

Wow was that longer than expected. Let's get back on topic quickly here before a mod shows. :oldrazz:

You its funny, because me, and all my family and friends have the same response to BB as well, its amazing. Best CB movie easily IMO. And i'm not even a Batman fan.

Well Optimus Prime sounded the same in the cartoon as in the movie, but Optimus's voice is awesome (provided by the also awesome Peter Cullen), so i can see why others try to copy it.

I doubt they were trying to copy it. They were just trying to make Roth's and Lou's voices as monstrous as the beasts they are voicing.

I guess lol. I just think among other things that Brandon Lee was a terrible actor...and I'm going to stop it right there because you obviously liked the film and I don't want to get into it right now. It would be fun to someday but I'm tired. You boys are keeping me up way too late, I've got to get to bed.

I thought Brandon did a great job. If you were talking about Rapid Fire, I'd agree, but he was awesome in The Crow I thought.

Wait, have I missed something?

Has their been a clip released with Hulk talking? What is with all the "Hulk/Lou's voice sounds great!" posts?

WOW!!! I think that HULK will surprise alot of folks with its B.O. if this clip is any indication of things.

The problem is getting people in the theaters. The interest among the masses seems very low for this. I think the only hope is word of mouth. After having seen these 3 clips I have no doubt the movie is going to be spectacular.

Just the growling we've heard.

Yep, but even that is excellent based on what we've heard so far. It's so easy to overlook it but the Hulk's vocalizations are like pitch perfect in this movie.

Your opinion of BB doesn't hold to majority of the deep movie goers I know of and have seen reviews on. It's ur opinion I guess. I took a lot from it.

Iron man is as generic as it gets along with the Spiderman series.

ANyway though Hulk won't even level up to the likes of Spiderman 3

Seems too comicbooky which is the reason I loved Ang's for not having that. The only prob with Ang's Hulk was anything after the city shrinking scene and the dog fight

...I thought that was the entire point of these comic book adaptations.
