The Official TIH Preview Thread

What did you expect him to say?
He is in a fight do you expect him to give a deep emotional speech before he kicks Hulk's ass or something?
:hehe: you mean something like:

"Arch Enemy of mine. I think you need to see a Shrink to combat those deep seated Anger issues of yours. It's not healthy for you and I would much rather I kill you than you die from stress. Please Bruce I'm not only telling you as your beloved Nemesis. But as a friend. See a shrink"

This would be PERFECT!!! :word:

Imprevisse but I hope The Hulk has some one liners like "Hulk Smash" if the bad guy gets the usual cheesy one liners :o

Does the Hulk even refer to himself as Hulk in this movie? Does he know he's Banner?

When he says "is that all you've got" it sounds like Ron Pearlman's voice from Ultimate Destruction. Like the way it's all deep and everything. That's what I've wanted all along.

They gave Abomination a voice to have him throwing pouins? :(

No. They gave Abomination a voice because he talks in the comics and to give him a personality. Imagine that clip again but without Abomination talking, he just grunts and roars. It wouldn't be the same would it.

It would have worked if he did it once or twice when he was taking out the gansters for effect, but it was over done.

Exactly. The first time Batman appears it was awesome they didn't show him too much. Then it became rapidly repetitive and by the end of the movie it was frankly tiring.

BTW, don't get offended if I start calling some of these fake posing payasos...payasos. Know that you are El Payaso!

Oh, I'm the one. The "El" bit is as important as "Payaso." :yay:

"They did it in the comics" have been proven to be a futile excuse for an artistic decision many times now.

and to give him a personality.

Are you saying that King Kong needed a voice in order to have a personality? Not to mention that so far we're all loving the Hulk and he hasn't spoken one word yet.

Exactly. I imagine a much dangerous fight were words are not even needed. You take the action movie generic lines out of Abomination and you take the risk of absurd away, and as a compensation you have a more feroucious relationship between Hulk and Abomi.

Although a speechless character can convey powerful personality, the Hulk is a character who loses so much characterization and personality being speechless. By nature he's opinionated and doesn't ever hold his tongue voicing his opinion. He speaks his mind and calls it as he sees it, despite the majority. He's not always right but he's always honest coming from his perspective.

A facet of the Hulk that makes him interesting and human.

Can someone tell me why Hulk needs to use a car to beat up Abom when is his skin is probably tougher and more durable than the car he's using?

King Kong is a giant Ape, Ape's can't talk. Abomination is a person who, through over exposure to a serum is mutated into a monster. Emil Blonsky can talk, why would he suddenly STOP being able to talk just because he's changed? King Kong and A-Bomb aren't the same thing, in fact they aren't even in the same ballpark.

Where is this Abomination/Hulk Fighting Clip?.... I can´t find it anywhere...

All I saw was this awesome clip of HULK beating the crap out of Abomination... :oldrazz::woot:

I'm baffled that we actually have people that complain about the Abomination talking.

Seriously, duded! People were saying there would be hell to pay if A-Bomb didn't talk, now people are all like "eww, why is he talking?" Are you kidding me, guys? That's the defining thing about the Abomination, HE"S SMART! HE TALKS! GEEZ! I need a qualuu now! :cmad:

Because it looks cool, silly. :oldrazz:

Why did the two Krytonians throw a bus at Superman? Why do super strong characters beat each other with steel girders, trees and what not?...desperation?...frustration?...humiliation? (HEY!!! Did you see how he just boxed that guy's head in with a police cruiser? LOL) If you got the power...you might as well display it. :yay:

HEHE... people are weird creatures...

There is no reason. It is just action. It looks good on screen and wows people so it doesn't really matter.

Or if there is a reason, it could be that Hulk saw the car and knew what he could do with it so he used it as gloves and smashed Abomination and anyone notice that Hulk moves like a boxer too? He dodges Abomination's swings, ducks down and then uppercuts him. But I think Hulk using the environment as a weapon makes him much more dangerous.

Thank you, that's what I'm talking about.

I have the regular Quicktime so I can't so the saving or other stuff that quicktime pro can do.

That is really strange. I have regular Quicktime and it allows me to download/save Quicktime files.

I find it amusing. In the first Movie, Hulk didn't perform many amazing moves, not even using his iconic Thunder clap. Now in the sequel, they go all out and even go as far as ripping moves straight from the games like the car gloves.

Not a sequel. This is a fresh start to a new franchise. A reboot.
