The Official TIH Preview Thread

I'd rather see Uwe Boll vs. Michael Bay.

How dare Bay not accept that boxing match... I would have loved to watch it.

...Especially if randomly Bruce Willis jumped in the ring last minute and dislocated both their jaws.

Bay would win his movies are actually enjoyable to watch. Though Willis would easily win & then say "Yippe Ki Yay Mother ****ers!".

This clip was amazing, I can't wait for this now. :bh:

After hearing how cool the abomination sounds. I tryed to see if i can make it sound like he' talking with animal sounds. I think in the right hands my idea could work better. but i'm pround of my results.

Leterrier used animal noises for the growls and roars of Abomination and Hulk. He used stuff like camel, bear and other animal sounds.

If you watch the trailers with Hulk ripping the car in half and roaring you will notice how it sounds different compared to the roar in the Street Fight clip that is because the roar in the trailer was made of animal sounds whereas the roar in the Street Fight clip was from Lou Ferigno.

Yeah i know these things already. What i did was just something for fun. Because i always thought it be cool to have someone talk in a movie in that their speaking completely was made with animal sounds. Not just roars and grunts and things. And I just thought id give it a try.

Were you trying to make him sound like a mute animal? If you wre trying to alter the dialogue to sound more animal-like I couldn't understand a word he said.

I wonder if they plan on having Lou go back and re-do all of the Hulk vocals?? I think it'd sound a tad odd to have a lion roar Hulk and then the next time be a human voice (distorted & tweaked, but obviously human) alternating throughout. With computers & modern sophisticated audio technology, they should be able to pitch down and modulate Ferrigno's voice fit in every scene, with very little animal sweeteners thrown in. I really thought the lion roar in that very first trailer sounded lame, not to mention obvious. But that's just me.

i think they did that, cause hulks roar as he ripped that car in half has been changed, listen in the trailer then on the street fight.

By jove, I think you're right! Thank goodness. Inconsistent vocals would be one more thing for critics (and fanboy whiners) to thrash the film over.

Now if they just give the transformation a sound to go along with the gamma-eyes...

Mute animal?

Yes i was trying to make him more animal like.Thats why i said in better hands it woud probably be better. Or more understandable. But IMO i think it would be awsome if a movie could pull that off effectivily

Abomination sounds awesome! He took that massive beating from Hulk and his reply to that is "Is that all you got?!"

Leterrier is the man!
Yes...coming up with a clichee line like that really qualifies one as the man :woot:

Hi!

Sorry to interrupt you all, but is there anyone who could possibly PM me a copy of the leaked script? I'm so curious about it.

Thank you!

I don't have the script at all because I don't want to know the plot of the movie. I want to hopefully be pleasantly surprised by the developments in it.

Wouldn't you lot rather be pleasantly surprised by it all watching for the first time, rather than spoil the film?

Call me strange if you'd like, but I want to compare how the script forms in my mind's eye to the actual movie when I see it and see how far off or close to the visual I was.

I don't understand when people say this. You read books like Harry Potter, Narnia and Lord of the Rings and then you watch the films, knowing what is going to be in the film. Isn't this kind of the same of scripts.

awesome fighting clip between abomination and hulk. hopefully the whole film is as awesome.

this is my fav clip, its just so brutal, hulk beats the hell outta abom and he just brushes it off like its nothing!!my lord this fight will be soooo fantasticly incredible.I showed the clip to almost every one in my house,my father just laughed and said "DAMN"!!my sister(who is only 14 not into comic movies and has been a crtic over this new movie)even said it was sweet.
CAN'T WAIT!!1

Then it might be best to save doing that until after you see the movie...but it's your choice. Personally, I would wait until after.

Not really. A script is more or less a short hand version of what the movie will be along with dialogue. It's not the same as reading Lord of the Rings before you see the film. A novel is meant as a form of self-contained entertainment and so is a movie. A script isn't. It's a tool used to produce a movie. If you are highly entertained by reading a script, I guess it is a heck of an engrossing script, because that is not a script's intention.
Personally, I won't even read a book prior to a movie's release...especially on a movie I am anticitpating as much as this. I intend to get the most bang for my buck come opening day in the way of enjoying the film.

I feel kind of stupid for asking this question, but is there a difference between a screenplay and a script? I'm far too lazy to check the dictionary at the moment.

I know what you all mean by waiting until the movie comes out, but I have a high sense of curiosity for this thing. Also, the novelization does differ a little from the movie, as I've observed from the preview clips I've seen so far.

It is like reading a Harry Potter book and finding its differences in the movie itself. Again, so curious.

"Hey Mr. Curiosity, is it true what they've been saying about you, are you killing me? You took care of the cat already, and for those who think it's heavy: Is it the truth, or is it only gossip?" --- Jason Mraz
