he looks awesome, i like the third or second options

Why don't you just forget about these movies and go back to watching the G1 series? It might make you happier. :yay:

I can't forget about them. They bare the name of a beloved show from my childhood. I feel like a battered housewife that keeps coming back to her abusive husband; no matter how many times i know i shouldn't, i keep hoping things will change..............but deep down i know they won't.

If you don't stop complaining, I'm going to make you watch the scene with Devastators balls over and over again. Clockwork Orange style. :cmad:

The funny thing is I love the original cartoon too. Yet, I still love the movies. Weird, huh? :woot:

Like I said,he's masochistic.

As a G1 purist I watch Bayformer movies for the 10 or 15 minutes that he gets right. Yes I'd gladly pay 8 bucks and sit for two hours just to see a decent 15 minutes of Transformers. Yes it's like sifting through feces for a tiny golden pebble.

I do so because as a Transformer fan I'm starved for live action Transformer entertainment, Bayformers is the only live action adaptations available, and also to see what the general public is viewing as Transformers.

The fact that I only watch each Bayformer movie only once when I'm a life-long Transformer fan is a testament to how piss-poor the adaptations are. As a life long TF fan I should be compelled to watch the movies several times but sadly, once enough.

I'm glad this is the end of Bay's franchise. Give someone who doesn't despise the source material a chance at directing.

I'm a life long TF fan too and I like these movies. I see them as just another interpretation of the same material. G1, Beast Wars/Machines, Armada/Energon/Unicron, Robots In Disguise, Animated. They're all different. Even the comics aren't axactly like the original cartoons.

If they had a different, better director who was a huge TF fan, you'd still find something to complain about.

I can be masochistic sometimes. I sit through the Twilight movies just to see a few minutes of Ashley Greene. :woot:

Holy crap. That's sad. :csad:

:| ok maybe you should have to watch the whole movie

I just get the Bayformer DVDs and fast forward to the scenes I like.... well I do that to most of my movies... Spider-man, Batman whatever, the remote is in my hand

It depends on my mood when watching if i FF through any bits that irritate me... most of the time i don't FF through anything

In Transformers 1, the plotline with the tech kid and the blonde girl with the government seems very redundant, I usually skip thru all of that

It's Generally Judy in ROTF that i skip... if i skip anything... she is wacky in TF1... but the whole Druggie stuff was a bit too much IMHO

Well, then you're not actually watching a movie.

exactly. Why bother even owning the DVD if you're going to skip and fast forward through parts of it. Why bother sitting down to watch the movie if you're not actually going to watch it?

waste of money and rather pointless if you ask me

I always watch movies/shows all the way through from start to finish, even parts I don't care for.

Like I said,he's masochistic.

there's nothing "masochistic" about liking a piece of art that others "don't."

of all the fun "dumb" films that come out every year, I find it interesting how the bay(fromer) films are the ones that are pointed out.

I like the crank films and they are honestly "very bad" and "very vulgar"
yet no one will will call me masochistic for it.

I think it's interesting how the fan hyperbole propaganda machine can cry bloody murder (in an attempt to get a more fan service director/producers at the helm) and the movie still performs very well, unlike say gi joe and um iron man 2. as "bad" as the TF films may or may not be, the movie going audience seems to enjoy the films.

-you can be like Ebert call them all morons for liking a piece of "art" that you don't.
-you can call them all masochists
-you can blame the marketing prowess of paramout etc.

peace.

^ I think you're confused. S.A.A.D. said people were 'masochistic' because they watch and talk about these movie even though he don't like them. Not the other way around.

Yay! AWESOME! I'm glad he'd decided to challenge himself . . . I remember him originally saying how, the 3-D cameras are cumbersome, and heavy . . . his shooting style is very fast . . . maybe this will result in a calmer camera shots . . . not his usual shaky cam, although I like his shaky cam - non-boring approach :yay:

From SEIBERTRON.com:

Nelson of Shoot For The Edit has contacted Mr. Michael Bay, a couple of days ago and foundout that Mr. Bay got the permission to film Transformers 3 at the

National Mall of Washington D.C.

Many TFW2005 members did express their confidence in Michael Bay, to ultimately obtain the permission.

With it, the previously announced “Car Race” scene is good to go.
