That's what I was confused about, the vid looks legit, why have her name as Mikaela, surely that's a mistake.

Ok what do you guys think about this... we all heard speculation about this film having something to do with time travel, well what if my guess on the bot in the trailer being Vector Prime is correct...doesn't he have the power to some extent to control time/go back etc? I think that would make for an interesting twist/plot for this film if it all focuses on the autobots/decepts getting to him first to try to reactivate him to go back in time, or something anyway, heck I dont know, just my thought for the day.

So I take it when Bay said he calls the Ferrari "Dreadbox", he was just referring to the Dreads who are the SUV Decepiticons. That interview seems like he was talking about a few new characters at once and things between the Dreads and the Ferrari just got mashed together.

Those toy pics of the Dreads in the above post remind me of insecticons a bit.

I do... Greatly enjoyed the first movie.... Enjoyed the 2nd, even with all the faults, and i'm looking forward to see the Italia and the Firetruck Transform

Does anyone even care about this movie? (not trolling)

At this point I'm more interested in seeing how close the toys match their movie counterparts. ROTF may have been crap but Leader Class Optimus Prime was/is a remarkable achievement.

Honestly, after part 2, barely at all. I don't plan on watching it unless I see some positive reviews and know that all the juvenile crap is out.

These "Dreadbots" look like the human mode Decepticon in the last movie. Grunts, but with designs this time around, so maybe I can tell who's who on the screen.

One thing I dont get from the trailer -

The Government had Megatron since, like, the 1800's or whatever as depicted in the first film...why do they act like they have never seen one when they get to the moon?

Granted, sure, the astronauts probably didnt know but they seem to be reporting to some 'shadow governement' types.

Megatron was a frozen, sleeping alien. The Ark, a spectacle itself, is filled with aliens. Aliens who were flying the crashed vessel. Even if they knew about Megatron, it's not a stretch for them to be blown away by what they're seeing.

True.

I dunno, I guess it just struck me like they (those involved in the 'lunar conspiracy') were seeing a transformer for the first time. I guess I need to rewatch the trailer.

If one saw an alien at area 51, then proceeded to find an alien ship full of aliens that look similar to the frozen one back home...even Shaq would look surprised when walking through it....probably.

The entire government did not know about Megatron. He was kept as a secret within the government.

the implication with the question, I believe, is why are the people on the gov't, the ones that are on the up and up with the megtron(ie the astronaunts),

why are they even surprised...

that's how I read it

Thats what I was going for Marv.

Maybe I'm just annoyed with the recycled idea of Transformers being here for decades or longer.

Transformers 1: We had Megatron hanging out here.
Transformers 2: The Fallen had been hanging out here!
Transformers 3: A whole bunch were hanging out here!

It was also made obvious that Sector 7 did not share it's information with other branches of the government.

Im fine with the timeline thing with Megatron being discovered in the 1800's then Sector 7 being formed and keeping a lid on his discovery etc, but it was clearly NASA that sent the Rover to Mars in 2003 per the first trailer, so why focus on Mars when there are bots/ship on the Moon, thats a LOT closer, yea I know not everyone from NASA knew etc but some Im sure had to in order to further launch future explorations for intel and such, just seems like a rehash of the first trailer except with the Moon instead of Mars.

The ancient astronauts trope brings with it the wonder of discovery, which is a great feeling to instill when your movie's about giant robots from outer space. What's not cool is when the movie's about dogs humping, Minstrel Autobots, and big brass balls. If they revisit the same well to avoid a repeat of TF2, that's fine by me.
