By the way, Bay just posted on his official site...Transformers 3, July 1st, 2011....

Blu ray edition is not the IMAX cut, with switching aspect ratios. A leak has hit the net and its been confirmed on a couple of forums that its not the IMAX cut.
switching ratios is the only way to see the imax scenesLooks like we have to wait till the retail release... even if someone finds a BRRip and it has IMAX scenes in it, it doesnt mean the extra scenes are switching ratios like TDK

If you have the TDK Bluray, and you don't see the switching ratio........ then you definately have a pirated copy.Err... i havent watched TDK wit switching ratios, so is there really a difference? It seems like in normal Blu-ray mode, the visual is fantastic, and it can go further into IMAX mode?![]()
it's a big difference. the whole screen fills up, showing the top and bottom, and what is even more interesting is that it's much much clearer, especially in day light city shots.Errr... i dont have TDK Bluray either, haha... but i saw the displays in a TV store... Blu Ray is def better than DVD!![]()
read this whole threadI have the blu ray version of Revenge of the Fallen, and I hate to be the one to disappoint everyone but it does not have the IMAX version on it and aspect ratio does not change like the The Dark Knight version...
Still amazing picture quality and a great movie if you're a fan of the film but I was saddened to see that its not the extended version...

The extended footage is only like 30 seconds... i wont go the extra mile to get it.
That's what I was thinking with G.I.Joe it's like they made tons more changes and disregarded whether they were following the cartoon or comic continuity and to think Larry Hama was hired as consultant.I let changes slide in TF1&2 but I couldn't accept what they done in the live action G.I.Joe movie.
