A pair of questions
1) moloch was used by ozzymandias for Rorschach's incarceration but was moloch choose for that in the beggining?? Because ozzy used him after comedian's break but in the flashback we see ozzy putting the radiactive device years ago. so....was just a coincidence? the GN says something more about it?
2) did Dr manhattan teletransport or destroy the people in the TV set?

#2 is easy. He teleported them out of the studio. A scene in the GN but left out of the movie showed Dan arriving at Hollis' place and finding out what happened, and Hollis says something about seeing footage of people in the parking lot.

#1 -- Ozy used Moloch in his "isolate Dr. Manhattan" plan as one of the people John gave cancer to over the years. As Rorschach's investigation of the Comedian's death lead him to Moloch, Ozy decided to use him to trap Rorschach. He had Moloch's place bugged, which is how he also learned what the Comedian knew.

'Watchmen' dominates video charts

Blu-ray Discs are showing some real clout. The action hit "Watchmen," from Warner Home Video, shot to the top of the national home video sales and rental charts its first week in stores, with 36% of its total unit sales coming from the high-definition edition.

Universal Studios' "Coraline" snagged the No. 2 spot on all three charts -- the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert and Blu-ray Disc sales charts, and Home Media Magazine's rental chart -- and even though the edgy animated hit didn't play straight to the young-male demo that swarmed all over "Watchmen," a solid 18% of its unit sales came from Blu-ray Discs, a surprisingly strong showing that indicates the format is fast moving out of the early adopter phase and into the mainstream.

Summit Home Entertainment's "Knowing" placed third, again on all three charts, with 17% of its sales in its third week of release coming from Blu-ray.

"Coraline" sold 70.7% as many copies and generated 63.7% as much rental action as "Watchmen," a good showing given the film's lower box office gross of $75.3 million. "Watchmen" earned $107.5 million.

Elsewhere on the charts, Warner's "Robot Chicken: Star Wars -- Episode II" debuted at No. 6 on the First Alert chart for the week ending July 26. Three TV DVD season sets also finished in the top 10: 20th Century Fox's "Prison Break: The Final Break" at No. 8, Universal Studios' "Psych: The Complete Third Season" at No. 9, and Warner's "Pushing Daisies: The Complete Second Season" at No. 10.

Meanwhile, Universal Studios' "Fast and Furious" came out of the gate with a vengeance July 28, selling nearly 25% of its initial retail shipment on its very first day of release.

It is good to see that Watchmen is doing so well on Blu Ray, just to make up for the mediocre box office numbers. I hope this is a sign that the majority of people who saw Watchmen in theatres enjoyed the film, and that is now being reflected in the DVD/Blu Ray sales.

I watched Watchmen on Blu-ray today and it was stunning, shame it wasnt the DC, but the TC should tide me over until we EVENTUALLY get the DC in the UK.

Can someone explain to me where the 24 additional minutes of footage is on the blu ray Director's cut? I only saw the movie once in theaters, but I don't notice a difference.

Same here. Somehow it was more fun to watch the DC without knowing the little differences (except the big ones; those were hard to miss) IMO

Now it'd be cool to find out where the small additions're hiding, though. Only found a few. Maybe. Not sure. Anyone know a side that lists them? Saw one on the 'net somewhere, but didn't click the link and now I can't find it

Well, if people really want to know the detailed differences and see for themselves, then all you need to do is snag the digital copy from the 2-disc DVD or the Blu-Ray. The digital copy of the film is the theatrical cut.

Yeah, but I don't want to watch the director's cut, and then have to watch the theatrical cut. I just didn't notice any big differences.

Found something, but it's not in English. Doesn't really matter, though. It shows what's changed/added (picture heavy!), at what time in the movie and how long the changed/added stuff is. They're really thorough; 90+ differences...
Man, it was fun to watch the DC with that page open. Guess I'll do it again later, it all happens so fast

its just showing that Rorschach has no remorse and killer was afraid, and btw in the Graphic Novel he didnt slash his head, instead he burned the house down and stood outside and watching the house burn down

Rorschach points to the dog because the evidence is inside the dog.

It's more a different self he's refering to, me thinks. Osterman was just this human dude, mortal, weak, and it didn't kill him. ...But the name 'Dr Manhattan' wasn't his own choice, was it? Weird. At least he didn't say 'it didn't kill Jon'

I just chose to believe it didn't work, not in the long run. So, to me, he's...not really all that smart. If (general) you chose to believe it did work, then yeah, maybe he's the smartest man to you. But then, he's called the smartest man etc before it all happened (the end)...

Like him much better than Veidt. He may be a superman, but the occasional indifference is way less annoying than Pushy Genius

Yeah, that makes sense and I got that, but why refer to 'Osterman' as a different person, he could have just said, "did you really think it would kill me now when it couldnt before" or something along those lines.
