Lets play fill in the blanks. :cwink:

After what boiled in BB, Arkham could be reopened by Wayne and Alfred using a shotgun to stir their cauldron of porridge, like in comics. I bet Lone Wolf would love to see that if a bedtime story required that. Micheal Caine used a shotgun in Get Carter....could be an homage posted on his website's homepage. Here's three cheers to that.

:woot:

I want Harvey back, but Commissioner Gordon playing as James Stewart. :woot:

full blown batCAVE
wayne grave scene
rain/snow
legit fight scene
no mans land unmasking would be awesome
and for some reason id love to see batman on more rooftops. maybe a good rooftop battle/chase of some sort.

This is all I require, anything else is just bonus deliciousness. :]

Great list, even if small.

I agree with others that's a pretty nice list right there!,I would also add.....New mansion/return of Arkham But bigger now/new batmobile of a lambo or ferrari or viper mixed with the armor of the Tumbler.

The No Man's Land-inspired unmasking would be pretty sweet. The probem is that Gordon trusts Batman implicitly at this stage, so something significant would have to change in order for such a gesture to be necessary.

The Batcave is an obvious "must." A new batmobile, even if it's just a modified Tumbler. Further tough decisions for Batman. More of the inventive use of the grapple gun, as we saw in TDK. I'd love to see the concept of the Narrows being repurposed as one giant Asylum, as per Gotham Knight, appear in the film. If the Riddler is in the film I'd want to see him challenge Batman intellectually the way the Joker challenged him morally. Finally, it might be interesting to see the film end with the death of the flying Graysons, but that really depends on the theme of this particular film and whether it serves the story Nolan decides to tell.

Really, after The Dark Knight I'm hoping to see Nolan do something daring and surprising with his final film.

Edit: Totally forgot, more ridiculous proof of Batman's awesomeness. In Batman Begins he wiped out groups of ninjas and rode the monorail with his grapple. In The Dark Knight he pulled out a ridiculous prep-time gadget to save the day. More of this, please. Prep-time, man. Oh, and Batman designing his own gear for once would be neat. These films have been too light on the bat-science.

To me, that's the perfect trilogy. He's been challenged physically with Ra's, morally with the Joker, and finally intellectually with Riddler. Batman will have become fully rounded and established as himself.

Inception style headf_ck

Hugo Strange

Yeah, I think we all would be disappointed if the Batcave doesn't return in the next film. I'm also down for a new vehicle, even if it is just a modified Tumbler. I liked the Batpod but wouldn't want it as the main vehicle in the next film.

I definitely agree that these movies have been light on Batman designing his own gear. As for being swung around by the monorail with his grapple gun, when I saw that the first time in the theatre I had a huge grin on my face. It reminded me of scenes from the comics and even more so a number of episodes from the animated series where he's being drug around by a plane.

That would be perfect and great but it also is a bummer too. If Nolan were to do that it would be great but knowing that this is his last film, that would mean leaving him as the 100% fully developed Batman that we all know and love. That fanboy idea that it would be cool if he was going to film a third and fourth film back to back would have been great.

Either way i'm so pumped for this next film.

If he is really stopping with the third, I think it would be very fitting to set it up as 'this is the beginning of the adventure, the foundation of this character so he can go off and live out so many stories'. That seems like Nolan's kind of leave-off to me. :)

I want:

Edward Nashton as an FBI agent, and talented profiler, taking down Batman that goes rogue with his Riddler persona, initially meant to lure out Batman.

Pamela Isley or Selina Kyle or Talia Al Ghul as a TRUE villain and secondarily as a love interest. Perhaps they are all one and the same person, just as Henri Ducard and Ra's Al Ghul are the same person.

Dick Grayson as a key witness that needs protection, helps solve one of the Riddler's clues and shows potential as future replacement.

A flying Bat-vehicle, put to good use.

I could really go for just a cameo by Joker inside Arkham. in the shadows, someone doing their best Heath impersonation. Some explanation or allusion to his lack of involvement. That'd really be good for me. Not necessary, but good.

Batman doing actual detective work (esp with Riddler), including a nice twist ending.

A fully featured Batcave, though still under construction a bit. Perhaps this movie could feature the animatronic T-rex or giant penny or whatever. Something large to put in the cave.

I honestly want a bunch of freak mercenaries: Lady Shiva, Bane, and Deadshot as members of the League of Shadows or something could be cool.

  • Smoke pellets: In my opinion in BB the prefect oppurtunity was passed by to use smoke to conceal his attack, and that was the first reveal of Batman in full kit in the dock yards. It would have added to his illusion and mysteriousness. So I would like to see the use of that in B3, seeing that he has to be a bit more discreet and possibly cover up his tracks a little more
  • Stealth: I would love to see him using the shadows and pulling baddies into the shadows and disposing of them out of sight.
  • Cave with Minimal, but HI-TECH gadgetry
  • Training area: Free weights etc.
  • Similair slightly larger Costume and gadget store that we saw in TDK, with BB suit, and mangler etc.

I'd like to see Bats use the "white lenses"..examining a crime scene, for example:the lenses should be used just for scenes like that IMO.

CHRISTIAN Bale plans to be “fitter than ever” for his next Batman adventure.

The actor is already in training for his third movie as the caped crusader, with Chris Nolan back as director.

“So far it’s all hush-hush and even Christian doesn’t fully know what the movie will be like,” reveals a movie insider.

“But he’s already working with a trainer and a dietitian to get the right look for Batman and Bruce Wayne in this movie. He plans to be fitter than ever.”

^^^^^
Now that's what I talking about baby!

That's the right attitude Bale should have for this potentially last Batman movie with Nolan directing.....get in the best possible kick ass Batman shape possible!

That's the way to finish strong Christian! :brucebat:

Where the heck was the shadowy stealth attack stuff in TDK? I'd love smoke pellets to finally show up too - which, as you said, are only appropriate now that he's on the run and got to be more careful.

I'm hoping to get a more Batman focussed movie. I don't mind a scene stealing villain, but would love to see the movie focus more on Batman's developement and hopefully his realization of who he ultimately is in this third film.
With that being said, I'd like Batman to be more menacing as he was in Begins.
Batcave with minimal tech
More scenes in Arkham, even if its brief, I'd love to see Nolans take on it
any and all unused footage of Heath...doubt it'll happy, but it'd be pretty cool to see him up there one last time.

Considering TDK's events and obvious repercussions, I'd consider that very likely. To me, B3 seems 100% primed for telling a good Batman character story.

His development could improve in other very vital areas with the Riddler. So there's an appropriate scene stealing villain for you.

Yes. God yes.

If you mean in terms of how people reacted to him; he's considered a murderer now. There will be new sense of fear associated with him.

Ka-ching! There you go, bases are loaded for Batman as a character!
