No, it's pretty well documented that Rourke left acting to pursue a career as a professional boxer in the 90's (he used to be a boxer before he got into acting).

but that would happen only on the beginning of the fight. i mean Stark not taking serious whiplash. so whiplash brings IM down. then what? the fight is over? because you know when IM will stand up he can defeat him in a second.

I have to agree with dark_b and some others who have worries over Whiplash and his costume. Iron man could finish him within seconds, his chest beam alone would put a hole straight through this guy and the fight would be over.

Oh, and people saying "Well its not like they are going to have Iron Man just finish him right away." Sorry, but this is NOT what I want to hear, as I for one wouldnt be happy with him having oppurtunities to finish the fight quickly but he doesnt 'because its a movie.' That **** just wouldnt fly with me or the general audience.

They need to think of a good reason why Iron Man wouldnt repulsor beam his ass straight away, and I personally dont want it to be because Iron Man is de-powered again due to whatever.

this reminds me how in terminator salvation the robot is just throwing Bale around.
how do you awoid this? you writte the script different.
it has ntohing todo with PG13 or R. in the first 3 movies the only reason why Connor(mother and son) survived was because the terminator did never come close. he was runnng after them but he was never close. because if he was close he would tear them apart like an animal.

they desgned the suit of whiplash and they made IM very powerfull in the first movie. it is how it is. of course we have to see it in context. but we are talking ''what if'' here. and i disagree with people that the fight can work.
Dock Ocks tentacles wee AI. they could think for him. they could move faster then him . whips are controled by Rourke. and hes brain is not fast enough to dodge IM weapons.

I guess I'm one of those guys in the "they're not gonna have IM finish him right away" camp. There's a good reason for this response because none of us, emphasis on NONE, knows how the fight is going to play out. Those of us that think the fight shouldn't last long or those of us that think it will be longer. We don't know a thing for sure until the film comes out. I have faith that Favs is intelligent enough to understand Whippy's advantages and disadvantages vs. IM. I also have faith that Favs realizes the problems with the final battle between Iron Monger vs. IM in the last film and will try to do better this time.

Sorry you're not getting the answer you want to hear but who can honestly give you that answer? Anything else would be just speculation.

The rematch (Crimson Dynamo amor VS. Mark IV) - Whiplash wins.
The re-rematch (Crimson Dynamo armor VS. Mark V) - Iron Man wins.

Yeah, but they're combining elements of both Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash together for this film.

Yeah, there's supposedy a robot drone army scene in the film, the drones are based off of IM's armor design. The drones get out of control at a public event and IM has to intervene and stop them. Hammer is the one that takes control of the drones. It was reported that an extra got hurt during filming of this scene, RDJ had to rush on the set and save this guy b/c he got hit by one of the drones and the guy's hip was broken. Don't know if any of this is true though.
