Yeah, I was expecting a mask. Also, It looks like he has pants from a prison jumpsuit on still.

From what I can gather, Whiplash builds his own suit. Maybe he attacks Iron Man at Grand Pix using this uniform, is beaten and Hammer comes to him and offers him an upgraded suit (Maybe from that concept art?) and a chance to get revenge on Iron Man?

Maybe Whiplash ACTUALLY becomes Crimson Dynamo?

Logically he would have to in order to face Iron Man. Stark's automated targeting system would take him out in a few minutes with that suit.

This is clearly an early version of the suit. It seems pretty likely that he'll wear this, get whooped, then Sam Rockwell will offer him a better suit.

I dunno how anyone can complain. It's one picture of (likely) the first version of his costume. Trust in Rourke! And more importantly, trust in Favreau, man!

it looks decent. a lot better than the s&m inspired costume from the comic. it's also exactly how rourke described it in that interview from a few weeks ago. it could very well be the final costume. it resembles the comic counterpart but considerably better.

It looks good as an early version of the costume. Seems pretty clear he'll get a beefed up Crimson Dynamo-y suit later on based on everything we've heard.

So his name's Ivan Vanko, eh? Makes you wonder why they didn't just call him Anton Vanko (who was the first Crimson Dynamo)

I like it.

I think, like i said in the other thread, its a great visual look of the grunge and dirty looking use of technology, versus what Tony's style is, very neat and sleek.

Plus, its Mickey ****ing Rourke, as a Russian bad guy...with whip weapons! How can't you be psyche for that image.
