Because the glider went right through his liver, stomach and spine. Realistically no one could survive that and we clearly see that he didn't.

Are you talking about the first movie?

No way did the glider get anywhere near his liver or his stomach.

Some small bowel for sure, and maybe his bladder if he hadn't been for a pee in a while.

The fact is, the injuries from where he was impaled would have been unlikely to have been as fatal as they were portrayed. The glider may have got his spine, but that wouldn't have been fatal. It looks like it would have missed the iliac arteries too.

Quite unrealistic unfortunately.

Tbh- I don't really want Norman to return in full form. BUT.....if he did, the graveyard scene would be the best way for him to.
If he comes back from the dead then it would be foolish to not have not have don the Goblin suit. Even more reason not to do it i say.:cwink:

They never showed an autopsy so we don't know what part of his inner body was.....sliced.

Honestly, they didn't need to. That glider went right thru him and the wall he was impaled against. And then Peter carried his cold, dead body back to the Osborn mansion.

Norman will only be in Harry's mind in this one. The way it should be. But it will be nice to see Dafoe again.

He was impaled in the crotch, Retroman! You cannot kill anybody suddenly with a penetrating injury in that part of the body.

it when into him and out the back, it must have cut through something in his body, in spidey3 harry will hallucinate and will see his father in the mirror, his father will tell him to kill peter parker and to take the serum gas.

indeed,

i dont know how many years ive been waiting to see batman play hockey

some more of those new sneak peek caps would be nice

like harry in the gas chamber or more of harry and norman if any and how about the retracting mask??

Yea that mask was pretty cool. It like disappeared completely

Norman coming back from the dead brought us the horrible ending to the Clone Saga, a bad taste to 'Revelations' and the entire Sins Past arc. So let's just pretend that the movies are in a completely different realm, like...they are...and port some things that are actually good.

That's a failed analogy. If I was ever caught in a suit like that in a 'real world environment' I would promptly tear the hockey stick out of Pseudo-Robin's hands and commit hara-kiri. There's no other alternative after being seen by other living people in something that stupid. Harry's suit is cool, whereas that made me laugh when Batman & Robin was still in theaters. There's no comparison.

I would love to see the ghost of Uncle Ben and Norman Osborn fight in an epic battle, while Harry and Peter stand around and watch. Kind of like the ThunderCats--when Jaga and Grune fought. They lit the sky ablaze. :o

I stand corrected in my comments about The Other and the ressurected Norman Osborn. ^THAT would be the worst Spidey storyline ever.

Hahaha...you know you love it.:D

LOL, I thought everyone loves a good ghost fight.

I can't wait to see Dafoe return in spidey 3 . That scene that was shown in the new trailer was cool .

While promoting the second Mr. Bean movie Willem Dafoe talked a little about Spidey.

Q. Did Spider-Man bring you a whole new fan base?
Willem Dafoe: Sure, kids. I had made very few movies that could be seen by families. Spider-Man had a huge effect on how people see me on the street and also it had a good effect on what I was offered. I’m always amazed that people focus so much on The Green Goblin because the bulk of the performance is the Osborn character. And I have to say I’m quite proud of that performance.

People always assume that this was a laugh, a guilty pleasure or the money gig. I stand behind Spider-Man. I think it’s a really good movie and I think the performing is very good in it. It walks a nice line between the comedy and the drama. I think there are good gags in it, such as the scene where they’re all sitting down at dinner.

Q. Can we expect to see you in Spider-Man 3 at all?
Willem Dafoe: A little. I mean it’s a taste, just for fun.
